Girlllll! Yes i quoted a full back for 1/3 of the price 😢 each time i completed one id just cringed at what such a good deal they were getting! But we live and learn!

Posting from south/central Georgia area - I am a full time public school teacher but a sewing hobbiest who does sell occasionally (seasonally) - I also teach basic/intermediate sewing to girls ages 10-14. I host sewing camps during the summer for ages 8-12. I also offer seasonal (holiday) weekend workshops for adult. Classes and camps are my biggest hobby-based income (supplement). I would love price setting info if you can offer a video on that!!! ❤

Just be careful not to over-extend yourself so that you’re always staying up late to finish an order, etc, etc. That kind of thing takes all the joy out of what led you to start this. I agree with a lot that you said. I have under cut myself plenty of times because I was afraid my prices were to high. Pricing is tricky especially for custom items. Thanks for the video.

Here’s my thinking. I work out of my home. There is a local shop in town, she is busy. But she is also lazy, she will not call you back and or contact you when you ask for a quote on something. Now come on your busy yes I know but you also can lose business if you don’t hustle.

I always post the price on my items when I post on FB. I think being up front is the best way to get serious buyers.

I'm in the UK and have had the same thing - my prices are reasonable so when someone tries to knock it down i just say - sorry i can't help you, - it's funny really because they ask is it cheaper in bulk orders, but they only want 4 items
