Hey! May I add two tweeks to your tool? First put for cuts around the needle at angles to create a point. Then when it’s time to file the end is a little pointier. And if you need a bigger eye, just dip in boiling water for no more than five seconds at a pop, and then stretch it out a bit.

Thank you Oonagh72 for your tips. They are very helpful. My very first tool was pointed, but now I prefer the blunt version. Glad you stopped by.

I've been thinking about microlocs but I'm hearing that it's eventually leads to baldness. Your hair seems full and healthy though

Hi Casmin Tyson-Greene thank you. Never heard of that locs leading to baldness 🤔 I think it all depends on the care and knowledge that one needs to have about locs. Thanks for commenting.

Cas was not sure where you got that Info? Doesn't lead to baldness

If you think that is true check out PR Charles' YT channel. Her locs are past her butt and HEALTHY!!! No balding there. It speaks to how you take care of your hair, if you do your maintenance too tight, whether or not you wear styles that put stress on the base of your locs and eventually causes traction alopecia, etc. Locs are one of the healthiest things you can do for your hair allowing you to retain length and maintain a healthy scalp.

You have such good hair...How long do you think it would take you to re-twist your whole head?
@fenetiwoman

I actually interlock them, which takes me about 4-5 hours, I do not re-twist them. Thanks for stopping by.
