It makes sense that veteran players don't like it, but the new camera system is way better for new players and lines up with the way joysticks and mice work, move to the right to look right, look to the left to look left. Technically, the old camera controls are what most people consider to be inverted.

I run SM64, but I always did so really shitty, 16 star runs, 70 really slow, never really looked up tricks and cool stuff. I took a break during this and learned bomb clip, owless, quick in the talons of the bird, quick lava wing cap, and quick lil penguin. Shit is fun. You're good. I got caught up trying to jump into the cavern w the beast, bc I was figuring these out by myself with just what I've watched. I would not recommend trying to learn cannonless or some of these tricks w.o tutorial. Shooooooooo
