A few weeks ago I went to vote and there was a gruff-looking middle-age man who was volunteering there. I noticed he had dark sparkly polish on his nails and we got to talking about nail polish. He lit up like a light bulb. I introduced him to your brand and it was just a beautiful interaction. It made me feel really grateful that we get to share interests with other human beings and just have random lovely moments like that.

Nail polish can bring ppl together. In middle school a guy is my science class would compliment my nail polish every time I painted my nails. He later became my first real bf.

You could totally make drink coasters (for your tea) with the yogurt lid peelys! Glue them to wood or something and cover with acrylic or epoxy!

Dear christine, I just wanted to thank you for always producing the best products possible. I talk about holo now so much, that when I pointed out some holo on a shirt to my 4 year old cousin at the store, she screeched, all excited, HOLO TACO?! We love your products, and I often paint her nails with the gorgeous holo, multichrome, Cremes, toppers, and frosted metals. She loves getting her nails painted with holo taco, and is really good about staying still. Thanks for always making us happy and producing the holo :). I can’t wait to get this collection!

Its not a waste because you are making art, in the form of photos, videos, and peelys. Those also last way longer that nail polish used for its intended purpose. Nail polish used in all theses forms is beautiful!

I absolutely love watching and listening to people talk about things that they are really passionate about. I mean this in the best way possible. I have never seen Cristine be so heckin nerdy and I absolutely LOVE IT. It gets me excited and invested in the whole process too. :D So cool to see someone spending time doing what they love.

In the beginning I always re-watched your livestreams. But rn I don‘t really have the time for it. So I love to watch just these „highlight-videos“ to save some time. But I also love your edited content - it reminds me of the old-simply-main-channel-videos ☺️

what happened to those normal videos she used to post every saturday? i used to watch her so much and stopped for a while and came back to all these live streams and no new videos on her main channel. genuine question.

@@Luna-ol2qy Over the last months Cristine felt the editing of her main-channel videos to be kind of burdensome and she lost the fun she had posting them. She tried livestreaming and it worked out surprisingly well for her - she has so much fun with it. Also her brand Holo Taco takes up very much time I guess. I also miss the main-channel videos, since I loved to watch them for years. I think she said, that she will upload some occasionally, but her focus has shifted over the last few months. I hope this answer helped you ☺

@Luna I do also really miss her regular videos. She's a really funny editor and I always enjoyed them. I'm happy she enjoys the livestream and I'm glad they're easier for her but I miss main videos so so so much

fr, and besides, nail polish is already a frivolous product. If it was food I'd understand, but honestly even with something like that the amount of waste an average person can make really pales in comparison to big companies if you've ever worked in fast food

god that was MESMERIZING. I've thought about getting Holo Taco to use for traditional art, but because it wouldn't be used as intended (ie for my nails) I wasn't sure if I'd be wasting such a high quality product. Now I'm SERIOUSLY considering it for the sake of this look alone! 😂

I think you can see her explanation if you look up the video she did when she did her eyebrows like a halo, and then the one where she paints Ben's toes while he sleeps. Putting out a new video every week is a lot of work, and she didn't have enough time to focus on the Halo Taco line and other projects. Now she posts videos if she wants to post a video, instead of every week.

I accidentally found out about this with my first canon camera. I hit the shutter button instead of the red record button and when I went to look back at the footage, I saw one raw file and realized it was a phto 😆 I think you can film & take phtos with phones too.

Her polishes are very mid-range, I understand that not everyone can afford that but it's much more reasonably priced than other "celeb" or "influencer" brands! And obviously, she doesn't pay that amount for them to be manufactured, that's just how businesses work.
