Should you BUY Apple Refurbished or New?! | Worth the Savings?

Every time I look at refurbished laptops and desktops on the Apple website I swear the prices are the same so I’d just buy the new computer.

Nah, I got mine for about $250 less than what it would've been new. Brand new battery with 0 charges on it, new screen, new everything.

On base/stock models it’s not worth it because you can get it cheaper elsewhere, but when it comes to custom configurations then you’d want to go Apple refurbished for savings

@joshuepico75 @dominicflick2661 I’ve looked on the refurbished site recently and I only seen one MBP up there with similar specs I’m looking for and the price wasn’t too bad but if I got it brand new it still wouldn’t have made a significant difference. I’m looking for a MBP (for when I’m away from home) and a Mac Studio (for when I’m home) to work on content creation and music production. I’m going to also buy and setup a NAS to have remote access. I don’t know if my 2019 27 inch iMac with custom configurations will be able to handle much more. I’m still looking around and weighing my options before I make a final decision but I definitely appreciate the feedback from the both of you.

@@RetroSoulX I agree with it not being worth it for base models, but definitely worth it for the 16gb/512gb model I got.

I’d definitely buy a refurbished one just to save money! I’d take a refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 2TB of storage.

I just got my 14 inch M3 Pro macbook pro through refurbished today so perfect timing for this video lol. I agree, refurbished store from apple is severely under-looked. my laptop feels and looks like new and only 2 cycles of battery charging on it,,, So practically brand new with 500 off. Seriously, take advantage,

apple refurbished has never left the factory. apple refurbished is just laptop that failed to pass the quality test.
