Again, I give you the marvelous Floor Jansen of Nightwish and many solo performances. From heavy metal, growl, ballads and even Opera! She is the penultimate live singer! Check out the 2013 Nightwish, live at Waken. Her performance of Ghost Love Score is monumental. Oh, by the way, I do think Mick ranks up there for live performances. Mick Hucknall is ageless, timeless and has always been a consummate performer. I remembered years back in the late 80s, I borrowed a VHS tape of a Simply Red concert from the British Council library. Watching this years later, I see his energy and his passion for his craft hasn't diminished one bit. I know I will probably never see Simply Red live but I remain a devoted fan, with a few of their CDs in my collection. I still remember his take of Bill Withers'song, Grandma's Hands from all on those years ago.

Wow, his voice is still amazing. I got to see Simply Red back in '87 in Philly at the Tower Theater. Danny Wilson Group opened for them. It was a great show. I think his voice is exactly the same as it was back then.
