A Day In The Life of Apple's CEO

Timothy Donald Cook had an astounding ninety-five percent Glassdoor approval rating in 2021 as the chief executive officer of Apple. Since joining the legendary Steve Jobs as the company's senior vice President in 1998, Apple has only seen good days.
Together with Jobs, Tim spearheaded the company to remarkable innovation and success, which climaxed at the San Francisco Macworld convention on the ninth of January, 2007. A day many call the funeral of Nokia.
They combined an iPod, a mobile phone, and internet communication into one revolutionary device (interject with video and audio from 2:48 - 3:06).
Eventually, Jobs stepped down and Cook became the CEO in August of 2011, and shortly after, Jobs would pass on in October of the same year. Tim Cook has done remarkably well at the top of the company, helping to raise it's valuation from just about six billion when he joined to almost three trillion today - the highest valuation of any entity in human history.
Today, we'll take a look at a day in the life of the man that heads an entity that big. Tim Cook. A big guy.

Apple is truly an amazing company. It’s developed some of the best products in the world iPhone, iPad, iPod, AirPods, AirTags, MacBook, etc. All of them just work and work well, while also lasting many years. You don’t get many products that get free updates which end up supporting the devices in question for years and years. The Apple hate is mostly unfounded except for minor things. People who say it’s rich status symbol is ridiculous when you can buy Apple products for cheap that anybody with a normal job can afford. Again, Apple hate is a bandwagon

Maybe he just doesn't sleep very well? Plenty of people don't, preferring to do things during the night instead. He is also single and doesn't have a family at home so there probably isn't a lot else occupying his time. But Cook seems like a very good man and a true leader. Apple would be all the worse without him.

I consider Apple a very niche company which is a good thing. They have been able to box in and keep their customers and they have very good marketing strategies and techniques. I'm not a Starbucks girl. I love me some Dunkin coffee and donuts although I have to lay off for a while.😆 I'm aware that Apple is engaged with AR. I'm interested in mixed reality both from a business to customer and customer to business (point of sales) in addition to other things.

He is a good operator as Jobs intended him to do. Apple was in huge transition in terms of products and services during his transition to fit in, like the absurdly, stupid expensive iPhone Xs which is so bad in terms of value at that time. But he is all good now because Apple's core in Mac has been restored with M1's products, and also with the iPad + Watch growth.

@OllyKilo
@OllyKilo 2 жыл бұрын
@@BennieBrunink Apple can be considered luxury but Mac's are actually quite good value for money when you consider the quality of the components and finish. Windows ultra books are similar prices to MacBook Pros, and the cost quickly mounts if you try to spec a PC to the same as an iMac or Mac Mini. Even more so now that the M1 is here. I still think they charge way too much for extra RAM but when you consider the machine as a whole, and what you get with the operating system, nothing can touch them.
@thunderingeagle
@thunderingeagle 2 жыл бұрын
You gotta be kidding if you thought Apple had decent prices on their products during Steve's time. The only difference between Tim's era and Steve's era is that Apple used to be more risk taking back then. Thats about it. Steve neither invented the iPhone, iPad nor the Mac. He was just good at picking and fine tuning the products people would potentially want. It was always a luxury brand.
@OllyKilo
@OllyKilo 2 жыл бұрын
@@thunderingeagle Yeah I said it can be considered a luxury brand. But Apple products are a better investment than their PC equivalents, especially in the creative industry. Even during Steve's time they created products that lasted a lot longer than a Windows box and were just nicer to use. They've always been premium price but better value.
