Since seeing this for the first time yesterday, I can't stop listening. I would've given my two front teeth to be in that church while you recorded this, although I probably would've bawled my eyes out...... This is by far my favorite rendition of this song EVER (and I've always loved it). Please, please, please do another song with Robert Moody: Panis Angelicus? Pretty please with a cherry on top and chocolate sprinkles! His voice is pure magic!

I love how the shape of the melody is elaborated upon in the first verse. "The fourth, the fifth (the intervals playing out as he sings this), the Minor fall and Major lift. It's as if he's been reciting it, in one moment both showing his passion towards music (using music as an allegory for the fact that there may also be more potential in a certain someone than his desired lover thought) and mirroring the same kind of devotion he's undoubtedly put into trying to capture his treasured lover's gaze. A true masterpiece.
