Excellent tool. I have one myself. If i may suggest, look up Frank Howarth if you haven't already. He made a handle for his press that is quite useful. I based my press off of his. Just a thought.

Russ, Looks good. You could also use the CNC to make a handle for the top nut. This would make it easier to loosen and tighten, I look forward to seeing your segmented bowls. Ken

Great idea Russ. especially like the slot cut out, sure to be a time saver. I'll have to build this for my 'experiment in segmenting' project! By the way, that big ol'drill press sure looks different in your shop than it did in your trunk!😂
