I think the Ata-ata is similar to a french dish called Steak Tartare. It's made of ground raw beef tenderloin. Masarap sya with pickles onions and lemon.

Chef T, singkamas is jicama, not turnip. And by the way, Ilocano and others, like Cebuano, Ilonggo, and Kapangpangan, are now considered languages, and not mere dialects.
