My mate and I ran into you blokes at the Birdsville pub the night before you left. We were on bikes and we ended up leaving three days later because of the massive 30mm downpour. The entire route to Dalhousie was a complete bog hole! It looks like you had a badass time in your Lux's.. Looking forward to your next adventure update!

cool, yeah we thought we would beat the rain and keep ahead of it, woops. that first night it was terrential, i had guessed 50mm , but there ya go. i was actually passo this trip, wish i had taken my car lol. you get through relatively unscathed

Can't wait to see the lake crossing......and there are some deep and steep holes between the dunes on the way there, which will be underwater :).

so you raced the rain out there so the roads did not close on you so you could chop up our roads and say they weren't closed if you needed rescue you should get the fine anyway thanks for messing up the roads for us locals smart

Didnt race to beat road closures, raced to beat the rain, if you listened, the rain wasnt meant to go that far west. We didnt mess up any roads mate, dries out, smooths out all good. You a local in the simpson???
