Simpson Pressure washer no pressure trouble shoot and replace with a Cat Pump

I was able to pull the pump towards me and I beat the back side of the pump. Wasn't easy but it did come off a little easier than your method. Thanks for the advice, I couldn't get mine off before I watched this.

Hi, nice video. I have the same washer MSH3125. 3200 psi. Lost pressure and the slow water keeps on flowing even after I let the trigger of the gun go to off position. Need suggestions- get a new pump or parts and from where do you suggest? Thanks.

I finally got my pressure washer! Simpson Water Blaster 4200 belt drive. The only bad thing is that Simpson did not include a vented valve cap for the pump. So I had to buy one. Works great!

Nice, if it was new email their customer service and they should send it to you for free...I had an AR pump and with shipping the cap alone was 20, on a cat it was 25!!!

Thank you so much for this information very helpful. The problem I have is with my soap nozzles. I suspect that the soap fitting on pump might have gone bad. After checking I found the small ball bearing and small spring was coroded and eaten up. How do I find replacement parts? I lost my manual. Should have flushed out line after use, but we learn by our mistakes.

After running soap you need to flush the system out otherwise it will corrode or get gummed up. Ive gotten many units with that same issue…I’ve had really good luck cleaning it up with break cleaner. @@rayalcantra3338 most of the time abuse kills the pump. I’ve had very few that were actually worn out. Usually people leave water in the pump…it corrodes the pump and if it freezes easily damages the valves, they run the pump without water to drain gas in the engine and kill the seals or they run it without holding the trigger…water going through the pump cools it and on a homeowner unit in as quick as a few minutes the valves will melt.

Do you know how bypass works on this pumps?? I have Simpson 3200 psi. When i washing is working fine but when i release my fingers from sprayer the pressure wants to blow out pump an hose.

Probably 300. I can't remember since it was a while ago but with the CAT pump it's worth more then a AAA, or generic branded pump.
