Oh man, this Solitude update looks great. It was one of my favourite tracks for GPL back in the day and the previous conversion for AC was not great. Rainmaker is the man.

Solitude, Prince George and Mexico provide fond memories of GPL, not to mention the days of my youth listening to F1 races on BBC. 60s Laguna, here I come! I installed AC 3 days ago after 4 years. Sol Pure CSP etc. Very impressive what has happened with AC. Laguna 60's looks very interesting. 😎👍 Solitude also👍

Greetings from Finland, I love how Mike didn't even try to pronounce Eläintarharata :D It is a old piece of Helsinki, Finland. I think that road still exists, but is used as a walkway to get to the Olympic Stadium that you can see beside the track. The name translates to "Zoo course"´, even though there has never been a zoo there. But the park was insipired by a Swedish park Djurgården, that also translates to "Zoo", even though it doesn't have a zoo. It has been available before, but it seems like that version has maybe more spectators. Or maybe it has had some little updates.

These are amazing tracks and a couple of them were my favorites in Grand Prix Legends, awesome to have these back now. It's quite bizar though - i thought I knew about most AC tracks and out of the blue 40 tracks like these are released in one weekend. Curious what the story behind these Rainmaker tracks is? These tracks were not released before on any other site than Racedepartment I think?

Oh man, Mike! Entertaining and informative video! Love Adelaide! I was on assignment in Melbourne, 2010 thru end of 2012. Got to Adelaide a couple of times. Went to GP in Melbourne/Albert Park twice as well. Will be adding these gorgeous tracks to my collection. Do you know if anyone's modded Albert Park for AC?

The contrast is blown out. CSP frequently does this but tweaking the parameters (gamma/contrast/brightness/colour profiles) does very little to fix the problem. In VR it is even worse. This is why I disabled CSP. Such a shame.

While I’m impressed by the sheer amount of tracks that have be converted, they all feel like the mesh is coarse and bumpy, not sure if there is a CSP setting that would help with this or it’s just inherent in the source modelling.

Right?? I was thinking the same. I’ve searched a few pictures and it does look more lush back in the day. Maybe 60 years of race car exhaust was too much for local flora

Laguna is part of an old volcano, the ground is sandy with a bit of grass most of the year, but in general quite dusty, if you ever get chance go see the Monterey historic weekend, it will blow your mind! 😎👏🏻🏁

Cant quite believe what AC has become since 2014, thanks to all the modders but it gives me great hope for the future of sim racing with certain devs saying mods are going to be aloud in new titles. for now though AC to the rescue.

Solitude was in Project CARS in at least build 397 until it wasn't and the track was better than this version, even in its beginning state. I did a 4:30 in a Ford Focus RS in that back in the day.

How is the AI Behavior in these tracks? It's a lot of content to be only used as hot lapping...

Most have been fitted with pit boxes, so racing is certainly a consideration, but you’d be on your own to grade the quality of each respective track AI

BTW under the Career section on Racedepartment Rainmaker also released a career mod with a ton of historic cars and tracks. This guy is a legend.

I should of bought a gaming pc instead of a ps5. I didnt get into sim racing until after plus i have a 10 year old who loves the ps5 but sim racing pc is the only way to go. I love acc but the 1.9 on ps5 is absolutely broken at the moment
