Assetto Corsa Competizione - Test Race @ Red Bull Ring In Cleanest GT3, GT2 Multi Class Public Lobby

Hopped on to a random multi class GT3 & GT2 public lobby in Assetto Corsa Competizione at Red Bull Ring from the newly released DLC. This is a non LFM BoP lobby & to my surprise, I'm doing about the same time from yesterday in the Porsche 992 GT3 R and again on the same default aggressive setup. Aside from that, this definitely is one the cleanest public lobbies I've ever raced in ACC in all these years. Maserati is blisteringly fast on the straights tho....

Gt2 vs gt3 is the most annoying racing ever. The gt2’s blow by half the field at the start and then the gt3’s can not pass the gt2’s. They really do not race well and weren’t intended to race each other. As a gt3 u spend the entire race trying not run the gt2’s over in the corners and banging your head against the wall as they pull away like h r sitting still down the straights.

I’m thinking of going back to the Porsche. After the update I drove the 992 with LFM BoP & official BoP & it felt really good. How do you feel about the M4 tho ? I kind of hated it 😂😂 I think the AMG seems like a good choice. Been seeing a lot of people driving it.

@@SlicksandSlipstream i love the porsche but is unpredictable during the race, so i changed with M4 and now AMG. They changed bop for the 992 in this patch? The M4 and the AMG are really great, they seems big and stable and i love that!! the M4 is a bit tricky when the turbo kicks in, while the AMG is a lot understeery, i really like that but i need to change my lines 😅 So far soo good with ACC and i think i will start soo LFM with a car that i really want to stick.

There has been some suspension changes on the 992 & it’s quite evident. It’s unpredictable that’s for sure, but you’ll definitely be up to speed with the Porsche after putting some laps. As long as you’re braking in a straight line you should be fine. I guess in that case you’re better off with the AMG tho. It takes the curbs like a champ & less likely to kill you mid race 😆😆 You can also check the Aston, lambo & mcl. These seem to be the go to cars starting LFM.

I dislike the 720 for its ridiculous slow corner exits. I’m hoping the nords dlc will include some cars, hopefully….

What are your graphics settings like ? Been forever trying to get rid of the acc blurry look but can’t seem to 🥲🫶🏽 Also, you should do a setup tour 🤟🏽

I’m using Thrustmaster TMX which I bought in 2016 or 17 & it’s mounted to a wooden table that’s all. I’m considering a full sim upgrade this year. If I make it happen, I’ll definitely do a setup video 😄👊
