I didn't actually mean to xD It happened accidentally. The horse on the left was a wild horse, and he reared up just as my horse (right) was turning round. It came out like this, as you can see xD

There's not much to say, really xD You put up the cheat bar by pressing Ctrl Shift and C all at once, and type in Testingcheatsenabled true. When you next see a unicorn in the wild, you can either attempt to adopt it or press and hold Shift while clicking on the unicorn. Add the unicorn to the active household and you're done :D
