It makes me cringe we can download this for free and it’s also a million times better than the “leftover party kit”. EA could never make such a sensible kit, which is pathetic.

The discoball effects on the floor from the CC pack are the same effects you can get from the Get Together lamps and, SURPRISELY, also the floor lamp from the Party Essentials kit. It has to be turned on manually though.

Every time there is a new kit (build or CAS) I always ask myself "Why not just download CC for free?" 😅 Perhaps because some people are more comfortable buying the kit, or they play on console?

it's more because it means that u can use it with the gallery and the gameplay usually works better (e.g. the discoball being able to spin etc whereas cc creators have to work within the constraints of the game). i love cc and don't have much of the dlc but i'm not a fan of build/buy cc for my game because i feel like it easily clutters up my game

I used to never use CC because I was terrified it'd look weird and jank and not suit the vibe of the game, like some of the CC Satch is showing off here does look a little odd like is giving more Sims 2/3 than 4 to me. Now I don't care though and have an endless catalogue of CC for my game including stuff that absolutely looks jank because it's the only way for me to have fun with the Sims 4. I could not care less if the surgery table I downloaded looks a little low res compared to my other objects BC I GOT A SURGERY TABLE and now can make more horror storylines instead of boring suburban simulator

I used to play with cc but there was an incident where all my sims had no faces even after removing my mods folder and I completely lost the save I spend months working on. I just prefer it when things are officially in the game so I don't need to worry about corruption or updating stuff.

I’m currently working on cool 3D neon lights cc because I noticed the ones in the game are so flat looking apart from the Moschino stuff one, the one in this pack looks particularly bad. I will be uploading them for free download when I figure out the best website to do so, if anyone is interesting in seeing them/downloading reply to this and I’ll post the link! ☺️

The smoke machine, disco ball and lights should have been in an event atmosphere pack or kit, with other things like wall lights that make dancing patterns on walls, and some more backdrops for different wall heights.

Nice. I love all Soloriya´s CC. She has much more than a space theme - there is watermelon theme, sweets theme, christmas theme, arcane illusions (underwater theme).... Really nice for decorations.

The dancing square makes your sims dance in one place, instead of in random corners or face-into the loudspeaker. EA covering up budgs and selling objects to fix them, you know.

I've been saying this for a while now, but part of the issue with EA is that they KNOW that the Mod community will always pick up the slack. Not to say that they shouldn't make CC, but honestly Im not sure how we should incentivize them to do better bc I don't want them to ban CC and force us to buy packs.
