I like to believe that this fits into the Jim Pickens lore, with "David" being just a younger Jim who got amnosia. He's already showing signs of remembering his true self: fighting primates, closing himself off from future slaves in order to accumulate his mystical powers.

Okay but hear me out: what if Sims Castaway Stories is actually one of the books Grim has written and he has based the characters off of people he actually knows, which is why David and the professor both have some common traits with Jim. David wanting to paint is based off of the painting chambers, Waiata hanging the garbage from the tree references Beejey's obsession with kicking the trashbin, and those other survivors are definitely inspired by some of Jim's victims. That professor is directly inspired by Jim, and though David isn't as evil as Jim - his half-decentness is definitely taken from the Santas - he still takes some inspiration, such as stealing/kicking possibly cursed ceremonial objects, pissing in the lake, trying to flirt with everyone but just making them hate him, and blocking off access to his house out of spite.

Back in the day, there was no Steam or Origin, or at least I didn't know about it and the way I'd get Sims 2 and the expansion packs is I'd pay the electrician dude that owned a store and he'd pirate them for me, put them on a CD and charge money for them, like 5 dollars. And that's basically Eastern Europe for you, your store clerk, or electrician or laundry guy sold you illegal games.

Man it’s insane to think this video was over 3 years ago now. I’m a bit tipsy (I don’t ever drink, but found out my fiancé is pregnant, and got to see the ultra sound today for the first time so I’m celebrating) and am on a kick of your older videos. Just seen this, and seen it was 3 years ago.. man how time flys man. Back then, I was depressed running from Demons and overall just fighting to keep myself me. Flash forward to today and I’m engaged, have my own place, have a kitten, a puppy, and a baby on the way and it just makes me realize how fast time flys. Just want to say thank you for all the laughs over the years, and for helping me in ways I can’t really describe. I know it sounds kinda sad, but prior to my fiance your videos got me through my days. I’d get off work and instantly go home and watch your videos and it would cheer me up and get me laughing again. Now instead of watching to forget my life, I’m simply watching to enjoy your videos. I doubt you see this, but man Kevin you really helped me outta some dark holes in my life and I appreciate you and your videos more than you know.
