Historic is a brewer's paradise and the second-most played format on Arena per a recent graph in WOTC state-of-the-game. Think Pioneer+ card pool including some Legacy powerful Alchemy cards with a metagame of people trying/failing to scale down Modern decks or juice up Pioneer decks. Faithless Looting has long been legal, Lightning Bolt is banned, Ring is legal but nerfed, Lurrus and Underworld Breach are legal, etc. Historic Bo1 unranked and Bo3 ranked are efficient places to stress test unique concepts. I recommend Historic to any bored Modern or Pioneer player or anyone interested in an accessible eternal format on Arena.

You said that wildcard problem just I was looking at the 4 & skitterbeam that I need to play this in mtga -_-. Have them in paper too and looking at qualifiers for ANZ superseries. Currently a GW Beans Caretaker Control enjoyer.

Few thoughts: Is the red better than white? Azorius is the other synthesizer deck that gets ran. You get the white options like get lost, espeth smite, asimilation aegis and other things. In a deck running so many big fattie spells, surely ill-timed explosion would be great as a sweeper.

Ill-Timed could be a nice SB card. I really wanted to focus on Skitterbeam + Synthesizer which is why I chose to exclude the white cards. I did try a UW version with Smithy which showed some promise.

Pioneer content first and then standard. Prove that pioneer has a massive following and that wizards were wrong to exclude it from the 2025 row circuit

Sometimes ill click standard, more often I'll click pioneer (would prefer pioneer on magic arena now thst all the cards are there) Ill almost always click modern vidoes, and i will always ALWAYS click a video where you're talking into the camera (watching the meta for example)

Synthesizer is so crazy. The problem I always have with these decks is how bad they are when they don’t draw it, or if it gets destroyed. When a synthesizer lands and stays in play, the deck is absurd. I just wish it was more consistent.
