and let's not forget ei and miko teased a future war that's supposed to take place soon. what's natlan? 2 things. 1. the nation of war. 2. a land filled with dragons. plus, there's more and more fragons no need to name dvalin and azdaha, of course. that we know of. neuvillete retrieved it's full power as a sovereign. the previous hydro sovereign that was in remuria is now released. apep is there and despite having being saved by nahida does NOT like her. xbalanq will be the pyro equivalent of neuvillete. now, the teyvat durin is said to be regaining it's strength. the "resurection" of this add-on may very well be durin, while the war ei and miko talked about during itto's music event may very well be a war against dragons. not the fatui, the abyss order or the heavenly principles, but dragons. still, if teyvat's durin is waking up, the fatui are greatly interested with him, which is why they are in big numbers at fragonspine. surely when it wake up, they'll want to meddle with these events and if so, it would be scaramouche's 1st encounter with them since he became the balladeer. if dotore's there (as a scolar, he would no doubt be interested in a dragon's resurection), then i wouldn't be surprised to see scaramouche and him fight. the abyss order might also be greatly interested in durin. let's not forget they tried to use dvalin as a weapon against mondstadt. they also aim at tranforming one of these watery god with the ruin guard's eye. maybe they'll consider durin as either a treat to this plan or as a more suitable entity for their plan. if that war do happen, some dragon's allegeance may change. would dvalin attack venti? would neuvillete make his judgement on the archons? surely azdaha would still hold a grudge on zhongly. apep would most probably attack humanity and gods alike, just like when his boss did. xbalanq and the hydro sovereign of remuria? who knows? kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXrZcn2bqpiMhtE

@@butterblublu i wouldn't be surprised to see it happening. in his profil dialogue, wanderer is saying he would have prefered nahida to let dotore keep his other self, so he would have the chance to kill hom more then once. plus, if dotore's there for teyvat's durin and sees mini durin, scaramouch won't let him attack his friend like in the passed. plus, i saw a theory about dotore still remembering of scaramouche, despite the changes made to irminsul. so, while he may not be surprised at wanderer having a grudge on him, HE may be surprised at dotore remembering him. scaramouch was already at a lpwer rank, compared to dotore, but then he wouldn't even have to surprise effect and no soubt dotore would have a counter measure ready to use if scaramouche was to show up. he's the one who modified him, thus he surely know of any weakness he may be able to make use of. i just hope that if such a fight happen, it WILL be seen... unlike the fight between dainsleif and the abyss twin, which happened behind the scene despite it's importance and how epic tit could have been. hell, maybe we'll control scaramouch himself during this fight, the fight itself serving as a practice for us before the real deal.

Now that the trailer for Natlan dropped, the connection about the Names and Fate is more clear, Simulanka seems to be a mirror of Teyvat, after all way back in the first Genshin events we had the meteors, and there the Wanderer got the revelation that the sky in Teyvat is fake, this was later mentioned by Dottore in the information exchange for the Gnosis to Nahida.

There were a few clues of Durin coming back before, in Dragonspine his skull, ribcage and heart can be found. His heart provides a source of warmth which leads me to believe that he is still there in a sense, his physical body is broken down but his core is still "active". In _The Festering Fang_ of the World Quests in Dragonspine, you need to fight some Fatui enemies in Wyrmrest Valley, the location of his heart and in Chinese Wyrmrest Valley literally translates to "Sleeping Dragon Valley" which makes sense since it's Wyrm (a type of dragon) rest (another word for sleep). In fact, the description of the area mentions his life force exuding from his core. As for how he'll be revived, in the world quest I mentioned you have to fight some Fatui enemies which are literally where his heart is, as if they are investigating it for the Harbingers. In Dragonspine in general you can constantly find a bunch of camps set up by them as resting places for them after their research. In Wyrmrest Valley, the only enemies there are Fatui enemies according to the wiki so they are directly camping in the area, doing research and preparing to resurrect Durin or make use of his core. If you go on Durin's page on the wiki it literally mentions them having secret plans for Durin's heart but Traveler interfered. It could also be the Abyss Order that resurrects Durin as they also seemed to have done research on him. On the wiki, it says that Dvalin had ingested Durin's blood when he pierced his neck with his fangs. The Abyss Order took advantage of his susceptibility after skumber and lied to him about Venti abandoning him. The question is, how did they know he'd be susceptible, did they know of Durin seeing as he was a creation made in Khaenriah by Rhinedottir? Lastly, Durin might actually be reviving himself but I'm not too sure about this. In Simulanka, Barbeloth prophesied that R's child, Durin, would return from the dead. Wanderer expressed doubt of the memory being genuine but Albedo noted thag Durin's heart was slowly revitalizing itself (aka he's also been keeping tabs on Durin's heart) which just further proves that he's not exactly dead, just in a state of rest (possible forced due to the damage received). I personally don't think Durin would revive himself seeing the damage he caused Mondstadt unintentionally. Either way, he'll be revived in the 'foreseeable future' and it's probably gonna end up leaving us with more questions and a few possible answers. Hopefully my rambling made some sort of sense 😅

Yes I agree every summer event has some sort of preview to the next nation. The most obvious was 3.8 which literally shown us the whole basic plot of Fontaine but we don't know about it at that time. The rest was 1.6 previewed the Maguu Kenki and Inazuma boat. 2.8 hinted at Samsara and Nahida's power. But so far in 4.8 I can't figure which point is about Natlan. The resurrection yes but what I mean is the deeper plot and events of Natlan. Guess we will finally know when we experience Natlan and think back at Simulanka.

People says that Simulanka represent the nations but I disagree, I think that it represent Monstadt like the whole region. My theory is the forest squirrel kingdom is Dragonspine, the frog pond village is Springvale, Navia kingdom is Mondstadt and the toytanium mine is Stormcast Mountain. I first thought about it when I see the lighthouse that was tilted over by Toy Durin and the distant island where the three goddess statue reside, what this reminds me off is Monstadt own lighthouse and the time island off in the distant. Remember Alice restructured the ruins on the vicinity of Mondsradt lighthouse using Klee exploding the mountain saying it nicer that way and wander why Barbatos even let this ruins be. Could she be trying to hide something in the area? Remember the mine is where Toy Durin reside in Simulanka quest, it could also be where real Durin hide back then

About Naltan, I have a theory. What if Mavuika was the familiar of the previous pyro archon? Which makes me think, what if Mavuika will try to ressurect the previous archon in the upcoming archon quest? Cause her soul seems to be trapped in that mysterious room Mavuika entered in that teaser. Hell, the resurrection might fail or worse, the Heavenly principles might wake up after this, which might force the ressurected pyro archon to put herself down once again to ensure the safety of the entire nation. Natlan is truly a nation of all Tevyat.

4:07 “Changing history in Irminsul” doesn’t sit right with me, although that’s off topic. To me I see that Irminsul kinda holds all the information and stuff within Teyvat, and changing that pretty much only affects people’s memories and the information of something, not actually changing fate or the course of history. It’s why almost everything is still the same after Wanderer tried to do some funny shenanigans, leaving in gaps such as his spot as a harbinger being empty for a long time “for some reason.” Other than that this is a great video. Glad to see more of this.

Personally I believe Teyvat is a simulation held up by Irminsul, and so in that sense, I think it can actually change the truth of the world in the same way a game developer can retcon the lore of their game and it's still just as true as it was before.
