As a Brazilian I have to say. The Sandero RS is REALLY a beast. It was nowhere near a super expensive model, and with its light weight, the Duster's 2 liter engine and Renaut Sport tune on the Engine, suspension and brakes (it was the only Sandero with rear disc brakes in the world), it is a beast on the track. You can go to a track day driving it, track it all day until you get tired, and go home without the car breaking a sweat. Unfortunately, it didn't sell well since it was way too focused on being a track toy, and that meant that the gear retios were too short (6th gear was almost as short as the fifth on a standard 5 speed car) and close together, and the ride was harsh. But yeah, it was a REALLY good driving car of you are willing to make the sacrifices in comfort. Kind of like a GT3 RS 911, but way cheaper.

My goodness. From this mod I think BeamNG should hire Fastlane and Kajto. As this mod contains every kind of config that exists in real life in relation to the Sandero itself, and the amount of details and parts to interact with I think they should be part of the dev team in the future 😲

From Brasil here. The RS version of the sandero is amazing to drive. The work they did in the suspension is awesome, it handles very different from the normal version, very sport. Alson, very popular car trough track days.

To see such a detailed mod with more than a thousand configurations of the Dacia Sandero (and partner models) is amazing. I would never have expected this. This great work promises a great future, maybe there will be other cool car models with many configurations. I would think of cars like the Volkswagen Transporter or Crafter, Mercedes-Benz Vito/V-Class or Sprinter or other (Citroën/Peugeot/Fiat/Toyota) delivery vans.

fun fact: on the later Dacia models they were sold with a CVT transmission as an option. they had to raise the car because at normal height the CVT trans had risk of damage. so if you feel like the raised Stepway suspension isn't enough, get one with a CVT from factory. or maybe just tune it yourself...

I love these high-variety mods. The Dacia/Renault Sandero was never sold in the USA, but I still find them quite interesting considering how well received they are in Europe and S. America. Build Quality is something you don't always get with low-cost commuter cars, but kudos to Dacia and Renault for creating one of the few cheap but well built car. Maybe recycling older platforms for budget brands and models (the strategy Renault did with the Dacia brand) should be done more often in the auto industry, given they can still be made to conform to modern safety standards.

Nice! I actually saw a Renault Sandero one day, quirky car, as I'm only used to see Dacia Sanderos here. Anyway, I think Dacia will never do an RS version of the Sandero just because they're a brand focused more on simple, cheap, reliable and fuel-efficent cars. Oh yea also, try downloading some airport map so you can do top speed/Jato tests. Happy 2025!!

5.1 MPG is worse than many semi trucks xD I need this mod, I will try it out and have so much fun. In the 80s there was the Renault R20 Turbo 4x4 which was also a hatchback. Citroen also brought a diesel hatchback called the ZX Volcane which is even rarer. There are also AWD Hatchbacks in Rally, but they are usually in higher classes.

10:38 in France 3/4 of the Sandeeo solds are Stepway mainly because of the SUV style and higher driving, dont know if there is a real differ3nce compared to the regular Sandero in term of height but my father could not enter confortably a Renault Clio but can with the Sandero Stepway so he choose this one.

no biggie but the Renault Sandero is not only available for Brasil, for the rest of Latin America. The RS its lowkey the best hot hatch we can buy still, such a shame it doesnt come in yellow. And its the only car made out of France with the RS badge. Now only the RS is made in Brasil and the rest of the line up is built in Argentina. God i love the RS

As a Romanian i cannot belive how popular the Sandero became just because James May 😂 Also the Sandero got a coupe prototype that never become reality. For us its just a Romanian cheap and mostly problematic car, and yes you can buy a Dacia with LPG installation from the factory, but its also problematic and when you contact Dacia to repair it well you are lucky if they respond, i know many people they had this problem. But what i really want to see in BeamNG is that Dacia Duster 'No limit' with a GTR R35 engine in it, that is awsome.
