Simulink Example to use GoTo and From blocks

What is the benefit of introducing this signal routing complexity into the otherwise simple simulink block implementation? I hope the signal routing blocks are at least of the virtual block type and not non-virtual type that consume limited license related resources. Perhaps this is a workaround to avoid crossing of signal lines or to minimize the number of offsets in signal lines routing needed to accommodate port locations?

I think its probably that, in larger systems where you have a lot of subsystems it will become much easier to use this setup
