The catholic church has more skeletons in their closet that they care to admit. And they won't admit. The catholic church is scandalous in many ways both in their past history up to the present. But I will say that Pope John Paul II and pope Francis are good men. Neither was born rich, like many prior popes.

This is a woman the whole world including her own mother abused and ostracized, just because she was a talented woman who spoke her mind. She spoke against all which is wrong in our world. In my opinion she wasn't mentally ill, she was simply alone and a misfit an out cast. May she rest in peace, she was a brilliant artist and one of the most beautiful women in her youth.

I’m glad she is at peace. My own darling sister suffered from mental health issues and took her own life aged 56. She used to say, she didn’t want to kill herself, she was so scared of doing the deed….but she couldn’t live inside her own head anymore. It hit me hard, watching this and Sinead saying she has spent the last few years trying not to die, when that’s all she really wants to do. Imagine, being trapped inside your own head. It’s a living nightmare for some people. Rest in peace, Sinead

Seeing her plea on social media last year broke my heart because I loved her the second I heard her and I knew she wasn’t at peace with her mother and all the abuse delicate Sinead endured by her mother’s hand. Then her son dies by his hand and it sent Sinead spiraling and she never full recovered. I loved her voice, her talent, het integrity and her songs and she was cancelled in 1992 because she wanted to make the world aware of what the vatican was doing with the priests that liked to fondle little boys. Imagine? I know someone personally affected and I’m aware of how many victims there were and how the church had to pay reparations for their victims. The world, especially the U.S. should have listened and treated her better instead of trying to silence her. Rest in peace, Sinead. You are loved ❤️

@@peterbravestrong Antypsichotics help in an eye popping way and I' m not taliking about olanzapin but about quentiapin and antypsichotics based on that supstance. When it comes to antidepressants citalopram is the best but antidepressants won't do the half of the work , what mentally ill person needs in the first place are antipsychotics and I don' t mean 'typical' ones like benzodiazepam but the atypical ones and of all of them you have to choose only quentiapin because that's the only antipsychotic that actually helps. I' m taking it for two months and it is really something that transformed my life.

@@EileenGoehring-lb8hy You're welcome. Glad you're still around. Takes strength to want to stay in this world sometimes, but it is worth it. I hope you've found the support you've needed to get thru' your grief. My Mum died 8 years ago & yet I think of her every day. We didn't have the best relationship as I was growing up, but became a lot closer towards her death. It's often harder if you had a complicated relationship with them, to grieve properly. I hope you find ways to celebrate his life every year, it can help the grieving process enormously. I know a lot of people think you should 'get over it', but I think it's normal to keep thinking about them & carrying them in your heart and actions, & if you use their spirit & personality as an impetus for doing positive things in your own life, it can really help ease some of the pain & transform it into something that can even be healing. I've felt very sad about Sinead's death the last few days, but I think it helps if you carry her in your heart and use her spirit & philosophy to inspire you to be brave, to tell the truth and challenge things that you see that aren't ok.

The censor beep wasn’t necessary, takes away from her message. I’ve been a fan from the moment I heard her through the underground music scene in the late 80’s. In a drag show at the bar I worked at, the host told me I was going on stage as her. We shaved my head, found a dark blue dress with tiny white flowers, it was so old fashion but had a grunge look with 16 hole doc martens black leggings and a ballet leotard, put a 16 feet long black chiffon over me. Yup I did long black veil first. It was a hit! Crowd loved my imitation. Sinead made many appearances. We were lucky at our diverse off the Main Street, night club, in fact you entered through the alley. We were a bit of everything. If you weren’t mainstream and artsy, weird and proud. This bar was for you. The bar changed after the original owner sold the warehouse was never the same. Thank you Sinead THANKYOU❤

Thank you Sinead for being. Life, a journey, some have it easier than others…the fact that you cared for the unfortunate, the miserable, the outcasts, the downtrodden and empathized for people who you’ve never met says a lot about you. Maybe you never had the love of a mother who bore you but you loved her anyway. Maybe you had faults of your own in dealing with your kids and other relationships but I’m sure you did a lot of goodness as well. Near the end of your journey you were miserable and couldn’t find peace but you delighted in people who didn’t know you but cared about you. For that I’m grateful. Sinead we never really knew you but you mattered. Now people like me are discovering your music and story for the first time. She was definitely on that journey all her life, but in the end the pain must have seemed to be never ending, so what was the point to go on? I get the sense that she truly never learned how to transcend herself. She was stuck in the perpetrual drama of her own making and didn't know how to get out of that. Shit happens to all of us, but we move on and thrive. Sadly, she was never able to do that. RIP . . .

Vincent Don McLean Starry, starry night Paint your palette blue and gray Look out on a summer's day With eyes that know the darkness in my soul Shadows on the hills Sketch the trees and the daffodils Catch the breeze and the winter chills In colors on the snowy, linen land Now, I understand what you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they did not know how Perhaps they'll listen now Starry, starry night Flaming flowers that brightly blaze Swirling clouds in violet haze Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue Colors changing hue Morning fields of amber grain Weathered faces lined in pain Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand Now, I understand, what you tried to say to me How you suffered for your sanity How you tried to set them free They would not listen, they did not know how Perhaps they'll listen now For they could not love you But still your love was true And when no hope was left inside On that starry, starry night You took your life as lovers often do But I could have told you, Vincent This world was never meant for one As beautiful as you Starry, starry night Portraits hung in empty halls Frameless heads on nameless walls With eyes that watch the world and can't forget Like the strangers that you've met The ragged men in ragged clothes The silver thorn of bloody rose Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow Now, I think I know what you tried to say to me How you suffered for your sanity How you tried to set them free They would not listen, they're not listening still Perhaps they never will😘

It breaks my heart so much to know that she was alone and crying out for help or even just someone to be around her so she'd felt a little less lonely and nobody was there for her. I have mental health issues and i can deeply relate to how she felt. It's the worst, most numbing feeling ever. I hope she's resting well🤍, she didn't deserve to be taken so early in those circumstances. Nobody ever deserves to go out that way. Alone. I didn't know of Sinead, only just found out about her a month ago and i can't stop watching her videos. She was such an intelligent, bold, empowering, passionate and compassionate person and her words, songs and actions have helped so many people, now including myself. Her legacy will never be forgotten ❤

It's terribly sad that this had to happen without anyone raising the alarm that she needed support of any kind but on her terms in the beginning. Mental illness is an insidious and evil disease that eventually gets the better of you and ultimately leaves you unable to ask for help. Therefore, it is extremely important and decisive that those who are around, regardless of relationship, raise the alarm about the situation, which can save a life when the sick person is completely unaware of the situation. I hope one day Ireland realizes that they have just lost a cultural treasure of epic importance that is immensely appreciated regardless of its small flaws by the people she often defended in the 3rd world. I remember her selling her house in the US to donate the money to the refugee crisis in East Africa in the early 90s.

Lord, people, PLEASE LISTEN, OH MY WORD - THIS WOMAN WAS NEVER MENTALLY ILL. She is a sage, a highly sensitive artistic woman - a seer - she could see the violence in the world - she was betrayed by her own family because of cycles of Complex Trauma - she was not mentally ill!! The world is mentally ill and she was responding to that - she tried speaking on that for So many years... and probably got prescribed brain-altering chemical pills from the doctors which yes - Do End up giving you a "chemical imbalance" in the brain. I hope and know that her death is going to spark a big conversation around this - TOO MANY WOMEN die in this world like this for centuries now... so many diagnosed with these b***s*it labels.... for simply being an intelligent, feeling, artistic, sensitive woman who can see and feel the atrocities in the world and are trying to speak truth about it.

I feel such horrible feelings about Sinead. I kept tabs about her over the years, and it is absolutely apparent she suffered from mental illness. I understand she endured tragedies throughout her life. I'm baffled she never found the help she so badly needed, and it's not only because the system or her family/friends abandoned her. She was difficult. It's a global loss, and only the tip of the iceberg of people who suffer.

Difficult? That's what people say when they relief themselves of any accountability. I'm sure Sinead NEVER asked for MH, no one does. It's so very hard to live with and get out from under it, ESPECIALLY without no or inadequate help. They just push meds like candy like a bandaid to hush up the ill. When they can no longer fight after screaming so long to be seen or heard, they get worn out and everybody acts like, "what happened" or "that was just so sudden, I didn't see that coming "...but they did. They just choose to look the other way and then claim they are difficult because they aren't easily hushed or manipulated.
