If you ever want to see a truly inspiring movie, check out "Scream for me Sarajevo". It's about Iron Maiden's concert in Sarajevo during the height of the cities siege during the Bosnian war. They were very brave to pull it off. I can't say that I was ever a big Iron Maiden fan, but they sure earned my respect after watching this movie. Really worth seeing if you can. My Bosnian daughter in law lived through that war, so it really hit home to me. Thank you Sina for reminding me.

Great cover! I just pulled up 10 other covers of this and NO ONE is doing the ride bounce 16th note thing (in the intro) except you! Everyone else is doing simplified patterns... even simple quarter notes (including McBrain himself, in one video). That intro ride part definitely has at least one set of 16th notes in it... and you got 'em. High-five!

Hey Sina, solid time and groove and those fills are right in the pocket. If I recall correctly, Nicko McBrain is the drummer for IM. The first time I heard him was on the album "Putting It Straight" he did with Pat Travers, the drumming on that record is fantastic. Nicko is also a restaurateur.

Yes Nicko has been IM's drummer since late 1982. durp!. However he didn't play on the original studio version of this song. It was Clive Burr who played this on the Number of the Beast album. Nicko does a nice job of it live though.
