Frank Sinatra had a voice that cannot be replicated! Frank’s voice was so soothing!

I've loved Frank Sinatra for over 50 years. IMO he was one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. I have at least 100 of his songs on my iPod today. I also like Vic Damone, Edie Gorme, Paul Anka, and Quincy Jones. I LOVE Tony Bennett too. I was SO lucky that my husband took me to Sinatra and Bennett live in the early 1980's. Those were two of the highlights of my whole life.

I remember my daughters telling me Sinatra died, they knew I loved his music from my years of singing his songs. I think that was one of the few times I cried.

Ernest Borgnine's 1st daughter, born in 1952, was named Nancee because he liked Sinatra's song Nancy, whose lyrics had been written by Phil Silvers when Frank's daughter was born. Borgnine was a Sinatra fan before they worked together in From Here To Eternity and after that their exchanges of mail pieces such as Christmas cards were always signed Maggio and Fatso. Both appeared in the 1966 film The Oscar but had no scenes together.

Nancy with the laughing face? I heard they were all at a party when that song was 1st played and Frank teamed up. The song was written for someone else but they both said “I’m not going to tell him”

Here in Atlantic City, late in his career there was a full page ad for an upcoming casino appearance Just a large picture of him on stage- a small logo and the words "SOLD OUT" How many entertainers can be advertised like that?

He came to my city with Dean and Sammy. The rat pack tour or something. I loved watching those guys all my life and wanted to get tickets but they were sold out so fast! Couldn’t even get scalped tickets. Last stop for Dino.

Debbie Reynolds looks lovely , wonder how good she looked for her age...but, I don’t know how old she is here. I also really liked Steve Lawrence, I always thought he was real handsome. Wonder how he is doing, his wife is gone too. But, I never heard any ‘ scandal’ about them either! Pretty good for a show business couple. Great singer too.

I disagree I think Steve Lawrence had every right to be there. Frank Sinatra gave Steve some of his music and told him I know how much this means to you so pass it on. Steve and Eydie opened for him on his diamond world tour.
