What a legend he left, most of it, besides his singing and acting, people never knew, i.e., the generous, kind man that he was every day, in real life -- he gave so much to so many, his staff, people he didn't know-- strangers in need, put kids all the way through school because he believed in education for everyone, so strongly, a very kind and giving man, RIP, Frank, we will always love you, and thanks to your recordings, we'll have you forever.

Frank was a classy performer. I respect the fact that he wasn’t a copy cat, he invented his own craft that is legendary and great! Didn’t know about his humanitarian acts, which makes him a great person also. Frank will always be remembered

Frank Sinatra was in reality what most men would like to be throughout their lives. He was real and he lived in the real world and totally understood it. People were seriously influenced by his brilliant musical talent and his talent as an actor. It came from the man himself if you know what I mean. RIP Frank. You did change the world and you saved my life 40 plus years ago when I was going to finish my life, due to serious illness and a deep depression. You can't get more power than that.

I am so... so... sad... that i was born this late, this man means so much to me. To see him perform is my most wanted dream in the world, Or, maybe they should make a movie about him, just like they did with queen, and elvis. That, would be so amazing.

My brother idolized Jerry Lewis as a teenager in Cuba, and also idolized the Yankees from Mickey Mantle times. So Jerry came to Broadway to do Damn Yankees, I told my brother, for his birthday We were going to the theater, never told him what play. I wanted to be a surprise, I, thought he would realize but didn't until we were sitting and the musical started.

I saw Frank in Carnegie Hall, I guess during the 1980's. I bought 2 tickets but had the hardest time getting somebody to come with me. You can tell I must be horrible company. Finally a friend agreed to acompany me. I remember a young man was there, not a Sinatra fan but curious to know what was Frank about. He left very early during the show.

OMG!! I lived in that podunk town Jerry mentioned doing that benefit for the firefighter! A lady who was a friend of mine was the mgr at the hotel he was staying at and she said he was fabulous! But, he did come with a big entourage! The hotel he stayed at was a big resort and just this year was completely demolished. Way things go..... everything changes.

That can happen sometimes when you get old. You have to keep in mind the era that all these performers lived through. You’d probably have a few neurons start misfiring too. I’m surprised some of them lasted as long as they did.
