True. Six years post stroke. It took a year of PT for me to learn how to walk and talk again & even though I still have mobility issues, I’m beyond grateful.

@@ravenc4912 Strokes affect different people in different ways. Part of your brain dies so that maybe why the part of the memory’s that’s lost. The good news is that with hard work & persistence,the brain can rewire itself to restore the things that you’ve lost. It depends on which side is affected,too. My right side was affected which was a blessing because I’m left handed so I never lost my ability to write.

I had a stroke on January 10 2024. When I woke up 2 days later I could not walk, I had to learn how to walk again. Today I'm doing a lot better and getting stronger everyday. I'm happy to see Sinbad is doing a lot better. He is giving me and others like me hope. And yes, miracles do happen! God bless you all.

I think the life I had experiencing the word and faithfulness of God has me convinced you can and WILL BE COMPLETELY HEALED. While studying psychology I had at least 3 professors tell I should write a book or become a comedian. I was healed from lupus/MS during my divorce and so many other miracles I’ll have to write a book. I praise God for healing you🙌🏾😊

Love you Sinbad, I also suffered a stroke. I’m a 19 year survivor. I have left sided deficits, I improved a lot however I still have deficits. But I’ve learned how to push through it. God is good all the time🙏🏾 for seven years I was an ambassador for the American Heart Association. I enjoy telling my story, had I known when I was 48 years old what I know today I possibly would not have had a stroke. I tell my story to help others. I’m proud of you for keeping on pushing through. What a awesome testimony 😊

Sinbad will forever be loved. When I was a young model, this man showed up to my fashion show to support me, all because I asked him to. He didn't know who I was from a bag of beans. Even tried to connect me to Kadeem Hardison's mom, Bethan, who was a modeling agent. I already had a meeting with her though through someone else. But, regardless, all I can tell you is this man is the real deal. We love you, Sinbad.

And that’s exactly what happened to me several years ago. I met Sinbad and his son in Atlanta at the airport. I turned around, and behind me was Sinbad. I shook his hand and told him I was a huge fan. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. God bless Sinbad as he continues his road to recovery.

Yes miracles do happen. My husband had two strokes and he's still walking, talking and was finally able to give me a bear hug. The Lord is amazing for protecting my husband😊

I'm glad your husband is alright, but miracles are akin to magic. The human body is more resilient than people think. What would be truly miraculous is something truly remarkable happening that can't possibly ever happen under any circumstances ever. I'd be more impressed if someone having a stroke just spontaneously stopped having the stroke like nothing happened.

I absolutely love this man. He is proof that comedians can be funny without being dirty. I was a college student in late 89 and the early 90s and A different world was a huge part of my life. He was the coolest RA ever and he guided the students like a big brother and they trusted him. One of my favorite comedic movies is Houseguest with him and the great late Phil Hartman. I really loved when he hosted The Apollo. I’m so happy he is getting better, we need his spirit and attitude around. Hope to see him on the screen again one day. Get well Sinbad!!!!!

I met Sinbad when he was on the verge of stardom. Me and my girlfriend was in a long line to get in a new club that was opening up in LA. Sinbad was in line behind us. I told him that he was well known and they should let him in without waiting in line. He said, "you're right, I'm famous, I'm going in but hold my place". He left with his head up and chest out. About 2 mins later, he came walking back with his head down looking sad. I asked, "what happened"? He said, "they told me to get in line". He had us crackin up. This happened at least 40 yrs ago and I'll never forget that night....Thanks Sinbad and get better soon 🙏🏽

I always loved Sinbad. ❤❤❤❤ I saw him perform when I was younger. He's an awesome performer. Because he doesn't do all that cussing. His material is clean.
