This evening, Oct. 16, 2024, I was not in a good mood and could not tell you why, and every video I tried to watch I could only endure for a few minutes. But then I came across this video. I laughed so hard! I love this man! I remember this stand-up routine from decades ago, but it's as if I saw it for the first time again tonight. Sinbad, you brought back my joy.

This was the very first stand-up comedy show that i watched and fully enjoyed at 8 years old. There are few comedians that i can stand to watch, and Sinbad is definitely one of them. He evokes nothing but warm feelings and hearty laughter.

He's about 9 months older than me I can relate to everything he says. My parents would lock all the doors and windows so I couldn't get back in without them. I'll never forget his one skit about If the Indians knew then what they know now they would line up along the beach and say Don't let'em off the boat. He's awesome.
