There's people who wrote Robert Plant was the best rock singer ever. That was right. But to me P!ant&Page were always incredibly wonderful playing/singing the Blues. And I never even was so much fond of Blues ... Here everybody might hear and understand how much SOUL there is in Led Zeppelin. Drivin me to tears. Incredible musians, just wow

not to mention seattle march 21, 1975, an epic show. which, coincidentally, they played SIBLY which wasn't normally part of the set on the '75 tour.

You should know that a soundboard is going to be released from that Seattle show in May. It is a joyous occasion as that show is one of the best from '75

This must be one of first versions of this piece of art. They are all going for it, improvisation is what they do throughout the entire song! Not the best version of this song, but the confidence and freedom they have is amazing. And that's what makes them Led Zeppelin!

I believe this concert was recorded for use of an FM radio broadcast. Makes sense right, given its clarity. I’ve read that Robert had a high fever this night but…he obviously pulled it off. This was a great year for him as his voice was in top form in my opinion. Check out Milwaukee August 31, 1970. Immigrant Song of course opens the night but it’s Heartbreaker that I’m referring to especially. Do check it out. It’s simply unbelievable.

According to some folks, RP tried to emulate Steve Marriot. I never quite got that feeling, but right about 2:59 mark, it almost sounds like Stevie popped up on the stage for a second

Marriott was a great singer and Plant was a fan of his. I heard many songs from Marriott and never reminded me Plant’s voice but boy, when I heard recently ‘You need loving’ from 1966 Marriott’s Small Faces (adapted from Willy Dixon’s ‘You need love’), couldn’t believe my ears! Plant was absolutely ‘inspired’ by Marriott’s style when singing LZ 1969 ‘Whole lotta love’’ especially the last part. Mattiott however liked it, considering Plant’s rendition as a step further.
