Acknowledge that it is wrong and advise others not to follow in your footsteps. 6)Repeating a sin is not a reason to avoid seeking repentance repeatedly; do not block the path of repentance and forgiveness for yourself. Conditions of repentance in Islam: 1)It must be sincere; Allah will not accept repentance from someone who does not mean it. 2)It must be accompanied by remorse and acknowledgment of the sin before oneself and Allah (some people may not be able to feel remorse due to psychological issues or upbringing, in such cases, they should at least acknowledge internally that what they did was wrong, as Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity: "Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned... " [Sura 2: 286]). 3)Perseverance in not repeating the sin again (even if one falls into the sin a million times, they can repent again; the door and opportunities for repentance are open until death). 4)If there are rights of others involved, they must be restored. One cannot repent from sins involving others' rights without returning those rights. If the person is unable to return the rights directly due to the absence of the person or other reasons, there are indirect ways to restore the rights. You can seek forgiveness from Allah without repentance, but it must be done sincerely, and if Allah wills, He may forgive you. However, this is not the same as seeking forgiveness along with repentance. Some people feel remorse for their actions but do not currently intend to repent and leave them. Therefore, ask for forgiveness and ask Allah to guide you to repentance, and strive and struggle to stop the sin. But at least seeking forgiveness without repentance is better than neither seeking forgiveness nor repenting. You do not need a sheikh or to tell anyone about your sins. If Allah has concealed something for you, do not expose yourself unless you have a good justified reason. This does not mean lying about sins; lying is not permissible, nor is it permissible to ask people about their past sins. Do not interfere in what does not concern you, and whoever has repented has repented, and you have nothing against them in relation to their past. You're a human being and created as such, God does not expect you to be an Angel but He expect you to strive to be a good and a better person always improving. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them. (Sahih Muslim 2749) Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Quran 39:53] May Allah guide us all, thank you for reading this far may Allah reward you.

I think everyone who has watched this video now has felt why that is. The young man, who calls himself a Muslim, is simply so happy with his situation that he has a non-Muslim girlfriend. He is fully aware that what he is doing is haram (forbidden), but he enjoys it, he is content, and he doesn’t want to give it up. And if his girlfriend were to take this step and accept Islam, he might have to give up what he doesn’t want to let go of now. That’s how selfish he is, and he’s holding his girlfriend back from accepting Islam. But who knows if we will live until tomorrow, if there will be a tomorrow, or if one will get another chance to make a decision. Very sad.

They could just be major sinners for doing it or perhaps had good intentions but bad application. The risk of misdiagnosing a Muslim as a Kafir is huge, it makes you a Kafir if you're wrong. I'm a convert from Las Vegas I went to Masjid in 2010 to take my Shahadah The Egyptian guy told me to come back the next day after quizzing me about Islam and Qur'an. He said I wasn't ready. An argument happened between him and a few brothers The Egyptian man looked at me after the argument with anger and told me to sit down and take my Shahadah with such an attitude. To this day, I can't stand that person. He was a total jerk to me even after I became Muslim and when he found out I was moving to Egypt and my soon to be wife was going to be Egyptian, he was more livid. Come to find out, he was a Mubarak and el-Sisi guy and to this day, I don't trust anyone who likes those 2 individuals

My sister, please, if you are convinced of the Islamic faith, do not delay declaring your testimony and entering the religion of Allah. Do not let this bad muslim friend influence your decision, and I ask you to reflect on these verses from Surah Al-Furqan verses from 25-28 which says Verse 25: ”And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent." Verse 26: "True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day." Verse 27: "And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, 'Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.'" Verse 28: "'Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.'" Verse 29: "He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." And my message to your Muslim friend is to fear Allah and not be a cause of turning others away from the path of Allah. He should not be in a relationship with you in the first place, as it is forbidden in Islam to engage in a relationship outside of marriage. By doing so, he is committing a grave sin. I ask Allah to guide you all.
