Does the acceptance rate reset within the month or is it overall? Mine is at 20% only because most of the orders would cost more money for me to deliver than it would to just let go. Other than that I have all 5 star rating and 86% on time and only reason it's 86% is waiting at resturants. Chili's, and Wendy's are the two worse places to accept if you want to be on time buttons are usually decent to great when you accept chili's

I just did my first day of DD Friday 2nd days Saturday and decided to decline 2 offers my area was slow but I believe that has a lot to do with me being new and the area possibly I have a theory with that I want to test but one of the declines was a $5 order for 16 miles 😅 I’m okay with going down a bit only a total of 10 deliveries not sure what days to DD I have 2 other jobs would be fuckin awesome to drop at least one of them but im not really sure what to do because when I go to one part of town I say to myself I don’t want to be over here but it’s where I’ve gotten most my orders the part I imagined to be stupid busy I got a wing order from Applebees 1 from hooters as well but application crashed and made me fill out the information for the bag and red card immediately after going back into the app then apparently im on break and i didn’t know and im looking all over for this damn hooters order once I realize I was on break it was long gone 😂

You need to be above 70% at the last minute of the month. Basically, make sure you complete at least 70 of your last 100 deliveries (that's why he breaks it down to 14 deliveries a day over the last 5 days of the month.)

DD can't give you what they don't have. You can sit there and get nothing but trash because of the market you are in. DD can't give you a high pay order when there aren't any there. Sounds like an all day sucker move to me. I've watched plenty of top Dasher channels that get 30 bad orders pretty much in a row.

i got lucky somehow when i first started dashing i was accepting a bunch of orders and after a couple days with like 20 deliveries i got top dasher but then i had to go back to school and i lost it

Have a good car that gets good gas mileage I have a Hyundai ionic 2018 and gets 50 to 60 miles to the gallon. Don’t turn down orders take them all make sure they have plenty of condiments and napkins. Be nice you’ll get good tips if you are and do. Only dash in hot zones when you’re delivering an order and you’re on your way back set your GPS to take you towards the hot zone Have a cooler with ice in it to keep their ice cream from melting and what other stuff would need to be kept cold. Have a hot bag to keep the food hot. I actually have my heater set on high and I’ll set it to blow heat towards the floor. I have the hot bag and a old vacuum hose going into the bag, to keep the food hot. Yeah, also, if you don’t want to do the hose and stuff, just leave the bag partially open have it propped up towards the vent that blows heat towards the floor. That works good too!

OK I keep asking but not getting a good answer. I have 174 deliveries as a newbie. I was at 69%. I went out and declined the 1st offer and of course my AR went down to 68%. I accepted the next 10 offers and my AR is still at 68%. Contacted support and was told to keep accepting and it will go up. No I have never declined 10 in a row ever so it should have gone up. I'm so confused..the algorithm is f'ed up.

Your AR is a rolling 100 orders. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🟢🟢🟢🔴🔴🟢 this would represent a 40% acceptance rate 4 green 6 red. (DD does a 100 rolling orders) let's use this example to understand what is going on. green being accepted red being declined. The far left is 10 orders ago and far right is the last order you received. When the next offer reaches your phone it will replace the far left order "it falls off" your rolling 100. If you were to accept the next offer it would now look like this 🔴🔴🔴🟢🟢🟢🔴🔴🟢🟢 The last offer fell 'off' and the new one falls 'on' this would now represent a 50% acceptance rate. The reason why you feel it doesn't move your AR after a few accepts is because you need those offers to fall off before they are replaced with an accepted offer. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🟢🔴 this would represent a 10% acceptance rate, you could decline the next 8 offers and you would still have a 10% acceptance. 🟢🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 The green moved ⬅️ every 1 decline. this also works visa versa 🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🔴🟢 this would represent a 90% acceptance rate, you could accept the next 8 offers and you would still have a 90% acceptance. 🔴🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 The red moved ⬅️ every 1 accept. I hope that clears it up for you.

Started out morning at 68%. Took 10 orders in a row, percentage didn’t budge. Didn’t feel right. Was going to end my dash, 2 orders came in, back to back, I declined. Instantly dropped to 65%. Maybe and app issue, may be not. All I know is that it’s wrong, when it doesn’t seem to function properly going up, but works fine going down.

I feel the same sometimes but I believe it’s because it goes off your last 100 delivery’s. So if you accepted 10 in a row 90 delivery’s ago you would be replacing a accept with another accept so your % would stay the same

If you can do 35 on the 30th and 35 on the 31st then you have a chance. Best case scenario you could do 64ish deliveries and youll be above or at 70% if not you need to do 70.

Doordash gives all new drivers 2 weeks top dasher so that they receive high paying offers for those 2 weeks after that 2 weeks you'll lose the priority access
