most of people don't understand why we need to divide the opposite with the radius to get sine value when the length of radius is not 1

all students need to relearn the trig with this fundamental, not the sohcahtoa which is meaningless

I want to make a good concept over sin theta and cosine theta . Here you told us that sine is the function of y and cosine is the function of x . But I don't understand u could you plz explaining for me

For sine, `sin theta = y / hypothenuse` 0:50. For him the hypotenuse is always 1. This is because the hypotenuse is equal to the radius, and the radius is 1 in his case. Therefore, `sin theta = y / 1` or just simply `sin theta = y`. Same applies for cosine in the case that the hypothenuse is always 1. Hope you understand.
