True however it all depends on what is written on the lobola documents. My partner paid lobola but due to our cultural beliefs we are still not married and we mentioned on our letter that we are still engaged to be married 😀

Yes buying a home is no joke, you need to save serious money. My husband and I spent close to R200k in lawyer fees and we saved for a 10% deposit. It’s definitely good to save…for everything.
