the way this video was done is so artistic because it weaves in with the lyrics. the red is their memories, the beige is their current realities. while they’re both in beige you hear why she broke it off: she knew she deserved better. then you see him convincing still. but near the end it’s them both accepting the reality. the other interesting detail is that it ends at hope, with it showing that it was a learning moment for both. just in different ways. while he learnt about the light, she learnt where she would draw the line. rather a hard way. so it sets both up for something good ahead.

Two years later and I’m still loving this song and the video is beautiful and visually entertaining. Beautiful chemistry with the voices and their interpretation of the lyrics on screen.
