Oh wow 🥀 thank you @amandapalmer….seeing you with your father singing this song just makes so much sense to me right now. One of my father’s favorites. I introduced him to Sinead & he introduced me to The Pogues. We shared a connection through music always…..he passed in 2020 and this just makes me so grateful. So many happy tears ✨ Thank you Sinead and Shane for your love in this world 🤍🫶♥️

A wonderful tribute to two extraordinary artists and their amazing gifts of music and humanity to the world. My single favorite moment, however, was spoken by Roisin and it was her remembrance of her baby brother Shane. Sinead was over the moon with love for her kids. This was such a loving gesture for Roisin to honor her brother who was so greatly loved by Sinead (and obviously all of his siblings) and to be done at a tribute for her mom's musical and humanitarian clarity and purpose throughout her career was perfect. She (Sinead) was clear in her book she thought her best contribution in her lifetime were her kids. It was such a lovely honoring of Shane's memory and of their mom's love.

Thank you. Gutted I missed it live because I couldn't attend and it might have been only for VIPs, what do I know. Maybe there will be one for Sinéad only that I'll get to attend in the future. Rest In Power Shuhada. Always in my heart. Roisin was exceptional. Much love to her and her siblings, John Reynolds, Frank B, and all those close to her who loved, respected, & appreciated her, and miss her now dearly.

Minha homenagem vem de longe, da profundidade infinita do meu ser, meu amor.... Quando formatado pela beleza do encantamento da história, legado, enfim na complexa e amorosa existência de Sinéad O'Connor.

Misconception Shane really liked America. He didn't like the touring confusion of flying to different cities only to back track like states were different countries. The tours were suddenly in other people's hands.people he didn't know or trust. He didn't like that. Loved the Midwest Country side and the desert. Liked NYC. Loved Chicago and San Francisco which is were I 1st met him in 1999. I was lucky enough to call him a friend. Knowing him meant you learned something new every day because of him. Idk anyone who knew him didn't love him. Yes he could be exhausting but it was because he had a huge zest for life's knowledge. He really packed 3 lifetime's in. We all miss and love you Shane O'Holligan. Thanks for the light and memories you left with us.

Should be O'Hooligan, right?

@@michelleobrien6996yes of course. I’m being constantly autocorrected by google one feels ready to quit typing all together. Not sure what they think an O’Holligan would be?
