She is my princess idol role, model, and poetry teacher, and that is the most precious of all the title of poetry teacher I am so grateful that she is my poetry teacher. I am blessed every day to have her as my poetry teacher, because without her, I wouldn’t have my passion of poetry.

Ireland 🇮🇪 am irish so I can relate to what sinead O'connor song about on the subject of Ireland being close to Bob marley and the reggae music .slavery Ireland in history had and the suppression of what Christianity did and does to the society of Ireland. We only got abortion rights recently .England always had it. So also She was not a rebel she only spoke up and said the truth of hypocrisy in Northern Ireland and South Ireland. Also she had beautiful voice one best ever from Ireland. Sad depression in huge problem in Ireland huge and little help very stigmatised in Ireland. Hope mental health 🙏 will improve more suicides in Ireland than in are from English people. Mental health stop using barbaric treatments. Open real services to all no money .hope sinead death will be used for mental health awareness they failed many .Irish people .

I was at this and totally gutted I couldn’t see a thing as I was stuck at the back!, but she was still bloody amazing. I was lucky to see her in Camden in a very small intimate venue in the 90’s though. I’ve loved this woman since my teen years in the 80’s. A forever rebel. ❤

I saw her in Boston, at a small club, March 89, 4 minths after The Lion and the Cobea was released. It was her 3rd stop and her first visit to America!!! She was pretty shy and it showed, but her voice was so strong! She did Troy as an encore! Loved her ever since!

The stunningly beautiful and ridiculously talented Sinead O'Connor..... I fell in love with this lady 25 years ago when I first saw her singing Mandinka. The fire has certainly been rekindled watching her superb performance in the Acoustic tent. Favourite part for me has to be THANKYOU ( a song played at my father's funeral) Alot of shaky camera work during this caused by my having to wipe the tears from my eyes.. ... Sublime moments; especially when I turned to discover that my son was in floods of tears also......So i'd like to take this opportunity to say thankyou so much for THANKYOU Sinead . :-) Apologies for the dodgy soundtrack and any shaky footage.....I was stood on tip toes,at full stretch, leaning against a wooden stanchion, at the rear of the tent, on full-zoom. Unfortunately the camera picked up a lot of chatter from passing crowds outside the tent.I only wish I knew how to improve the sound quality to do this amazing concert justice. Sinead is on fire at the moment......she was clearly enjoying every second ; as were her rapturous audience.......none moreso than myself. .Her tone and range is simply incredible......Every song was performed with total commitment and verve, the last chord of each occasioning her stunning smile to light up the whole stage ....She was kicking ass and she knew it......It beggars belief that the BBC actually didn't film this. Further apologies for having to butcher Nothing Compares in the edit.....as soon as Sinead broke into the opening' It's Been Seven Hours...I realised that I was surrounded by the worst (male) singers on the planet .....talk about off-key ? ha ha but i couldn't cut it all. I must admit that, apart from all the other accolades this beautiful woman has received, I notice in every live performance that she is very particular about - and focused on - the sound quality...and at some point during the concert signals whomever to adjust something. It makes me love her even more.

That's very true, going back to her earliest days -- you can always see her passing cues to the sound booth & band. She was very serious about her performances, and it was quite evident. I saw her in February of this same year, and people near me were visibly shocked at the raw power of the voice coming from this 5'4" woman :-). You can't quite get the dynamics of that from KZbin because of the compression and other factors, but it was very striking in person. I knew her just a little bit, and she was just...so considerate of people, kind, perpetually funny, and zero pretense of celebrity. A privilege I will always cherish.
