Her son's death (last year) was obviously too much for her to cope with . I've suffered two Familly bereavements in the past 21 months , and it is difficult . I think time eases such pain , though , and its important to remember that . R.I.P to an Irish favourite from a time when we could produce musicians who had soul, talent and character.

n fact, one of Ireland's most enduring anthems was written by Fr Charles O'Neill and the blind musician Carl Gilbert Hardebeck. Born on 20 September 1887 in Portglenone, Co. Antrim, Charles O'Neill attended his local primary school before furthering his education at St Malachy's College, Belfast. @@bogeybichon7000 So if you, for example, would feel that your neighbour is less human because of the colour of his skin, by this logic, you would not be wrong about it. Come on. The statement "you are never wrong about your feelings" is as empty as "you can't change the past, but you could change the future".

Holy shit what a perfect performance by Sinead & the Chieftains, and what an amazing song representing the fight/struggle for Irish independence. Love the Irish (I'm not Irish). Sinead killed it with her heavenly voice; of course she did. RIP Sinead/Shuhada, legend of Ireland and a beautiful misunderstood soul. This and her performance of Danny Boy are 2 of my favorites. Nobody did them better! Love from Canada, a lifelong fan.
