George has a unique way of building trust, asking the hard questions in a way that doesn't put the person on the defensive, and without making the interview about himself, which too many hosts tend to do. Fine balancing of breezy questions with hard hitting ones, and the result is a great conversation, rather than interview. George is the only one (of interviewers) who was respectful of Sinead. Seeing her this way makes me love her more than ever. God bless her, her family and those who miss her terribly.

Actually, the way she tells the story, she didn’t refuse to perform if they played the national anthem. She talks about it in her new book. I think she has more integrity than most and to me she’s a complete hero. Not to mention a phenomenal singer. Wishing her much success, peace and happiness with her new book and any future music endeavors.

Whatever it was she seemed to be up and down - she must have been incredibly strong willed to make it through so much; it seems so messy from the outside, but who really knows. @@Chanel95-d6u true. Everyone is different. I think she was brave but at times she took on too much I believe. The documentary on her is amazing in that regard. But she martyred herself really over it. It was almost too much to bear for a single person. Poor girl. That start of the documentary and it’s end is trielt heartbreaking.

Its a shame that Sinead is no longer with us,she spoek truth to power on so many things and espcially more and more so on mental health and about what got labelled bipolar for her was simply her complex trauma from childhood and all the other shit she had to endure thorughout her career and life being called "crazy"by the press and such like. She was out in lithium for years by psychiatrists which did her absolutely no good at all and was probably toxic like many of the psych meds which are not meant to be taken long term and as a cure all but should be offred in combination with other forms of support and therapy but are often handed out like candy whislt people are told to go away and get on with it. It is sad she is no longer here for so many reasons but I just hope that people will think about others who they see and are so quick to label as mad or crazy...etc and think about what they are saying and what our society still refuses to see all too often its own ills and sickness and then it has the audacity to label others crazy",people like Sinead.
