yeah, completely killed his early duel potential and first clear speed. Riot are imbeciles. they could've just reduced the linger speed back to 0.75 but keep the bug fix on the passive AS trigger. cause in the end, it's that AS linger time, the whole issue that made him broken.

@@jonsnow7092 yep. Now it's 1.25s? So .5 more than before, that with the extra distance on the Q I assume is what they think justifies the Q timer? Just a wild way to try and find balance.

@@erikshankles6482 exactly. thing is, a lot of WW early game power comes from Q. people always underestimate it. having that good chunk of damage with great base dmg, multiplier and max HP plus all the healing, is what made WW such a great duelist. the CD increase feels like crap on the first clear, it definitely slows you down. sure, mana when clearing does not matter but now you can easily run out of mana early on when ganking or in skirmishes (even in mid game fights). however, the biggest hit is to his early duel potential. he is MUCH weaker and many fights you would've won previously (especially at level 3), now you'll lose due to the increased CD. feels like crap narrowly losing a skirmish and see that Q less that 2 seconds away. WW is now a champ that has a crap late game, poor mid game and is also way less dominant in the early game. Personally I would prefer them to revert any "buffs" to W and passive, just to leav the Q as it was.

@@TrevorScott1989 8 sec Q makes his early game dueling a lot worse and also affects the jungle clear speed (especially the first one, where WW never excelled anyway). he's also extremely prone to running out of mana very quickly during early ganks and even in mid game fights. I've tried him after the "hotfix" and he's trash. it's that 2.5 sec AS linger the thing that made him super OP, they reduced that to 1.25. they could've reduced it back to 0.75 or 1 second and leave the Q as it was. he would've been balanced, but as expected from crap Riot, they overnerfed him.

Yeah really hard cause u get kited. I prefer him in toplane as a splitpusher with hullbreaker, BORK, force of nature, randuin's (when enemy has crit) and steraks

As a duelist, he falls off hard in teamfights, which is why you need to snowball your insane early strength to win. He's not that bad, though. He still has a lot of utility as a catcher (he basically has melee malz ult) and as a damage sponge/general peeler.
