I'm from Bhopal and one thing I can assure is that Sagar Gaire is way overrated, their food isn't that surprising to give it a special visit... Dine outs like Sharma and Vishnu, Bapu ki kutia & Nerbada should make your list if you're looking for some appetizing veg stuff.. on the other hand if you're a non vegetarian I would strongly recommend to visit Qazi camp area and try their street food delicacies like seekh kebab, chicken tikka, stick kebab etc.. 🤤

Please bapu ki kutia is the worst...stale tasteless food, unhygienic staff.... You'd end up in hospital after eating there... Don't recommend at all...

The cookie which you had has a lot of moyan that is oil butter or ghee which is given a bit more to make it khasta. We Bengalis also do that to make luchi or parathas more khasta.

Being a foodie and resident of bhopal itself, i can assure Sagar Gaire is way overrated.. their food's just average nothing really special.. If you're only looking out for veg cuisines I think restaurants like Sharma nd Vishnu, Bapu ki Kutia & Nerbada should make your list, and in case if you wanna taste the authentic non veg delicacies then reach out to Qazi camp area not Zam Zam
