Patryk Ewertowski I felt like Vengeance Falls lacked previous organic vibes that were obvious in their early work. On almost all songs on Vengeance Falls I got a cheesy feeling about the choruses and lyrics. It just didn't feel like Trivium.

I agree, riffs on most of the tracks were pretty odd. to be honest vengeance falls is the first Trivium album with songs that I do not enjoy

Patryk Ewertowski Right? It felt like whomever wrote the music was not a part of Trivium. From their Self-titled demo to In Waves, it's one hell of a discography but Vengeance just wasn't interesting to me. I am a little biased because I do listen to extreme metal so that quasi-pop hard rock stuff is just like dribble to me.
