That may be true if you see it in a different way. Bono and U2 are among the great bands to ever exist, especially before the year 2000s. Today's day and age of music will appeal to the majority of people born in this generation. People of today can go about their lives without knowing U2 or Bono. They're not forgotten at least not yet, but there will be a time that U2, the band name, won't be a household name, same goes for the artists of their time like Elton John and Rolling Stones.

The moment where Clay felt his Ruby beside him while the audience joined Ash in the song was by far the most beautiful moment in this movie, at least to me. Losing his wife to sickness left Clay broken and lost for fifteen long years, that he couldn’t bear to even listen to his own music after she was gone. But then along came this one fan who helped reignite the spark… only for it to almost go out again. But Ash helped the spark rekindle by leading the audience to encourage Clay to step back onto the stage, and it was the feeling and the memory of his Ruby, standing beside him in spirit, that finally restored her husband’s burning passion Clay found himself again, his love of music, performing, his appreciation for his fans and life in general, and he’s found peace within himself. He will always miss the love of his life, but now he will remember his Ruby fondly rather than mourn her miserably

In 1986 when I was 26, I walked into a new job and my boss was playing the War album. I’d never heard of U2 here in the US. When SBS came on I was hooked and went out and bought their albums. The following year Joshua Tree became one of the very few perfect albums of mine (One Tree Hill my fav song). What a summer that was. I was sitting watching this film with my 6 yr old grandson and found it fun. Then this scene came on and brought tears to my eye. I don’t cry often and a cartoon of all things, but this really was an emotional moment. Hats off Bono.
