"Sing 2" picks up where the first film left off, with Buster and his friends enjoying the success of their first show. However, when Buster is approached by a powerful music mogul named Jimmy Crystal (voiced by Bobby Cannavale), he is offered the opportunity of a lifetime: to produce a show at the prestigious Crystal Tower Theater in Redshore City.
Buster jumps at the chance to take his career to the next level, but soon realizes that producing a show at the Crystal Tower is no easy feat. He must navigate a cutthroat industry filled with rival producers, demanding stars, and even a group of ruthless gangsters who are determined to sabotage his efforts.
Despite these challenges, Buster remains determined to make his show a success. He recruits a talented cast of animal performers, including his old friends Rosita, Johnny, and Meena, as well as a talented porcupine named Ash (voiced by Scarlett Johansson) and a smooth-talking mouse named Mike (voiced by Seth MacFarlane).
Together, the group faces numerous challenges and setbacks as they strive to put on the biggest show of their lives. Along the way, they must confront their own fears and insecurities, learn to work together as a team, and discover the true meaning of friendship, family, and following your dreams.
