It's not. Extra sound effects are added for the speaking Toon mascots. "Making Memories" (no Kodak camera sponsorship) & "The Great Outdoors" (no Country Bears attraction at Disneyland Paris) are replaced by two _Alice in Wonderland_ songs ("How Do Ya Do & Shake Hands" & "The Un-birthday Song"'/"A Very Merry Un-birthday") and the character theme of western folk hero Pecos Bill (although, it would be viewed as insensitive today due to misappropriately Native American culture, it was added due to Europeans being purportedly enamored with the Old West timeframe in American history). Also _I'm Walking Down the Middle of Main Street U.S.A_ (in Disneyland Paris!) has its 2nd verse truncated and rather than having Roger Rabbit dance with Minnie like the _Disneyland Fun_ original, Mickey gets to hop from the piano to dance with his WIFE.

That is amazing! I love Disney but haven't done research on the Amusement Parks for a few years-- mainly because the short story I was trying to write was too complicated when parodying Disney-- and because Euro Disney was labeled as a flop. The original Singalong in Anaheim Disneyland was definitely much older because of those facts; shame that they've renovated Star Tours to be Choose Your Own Adventure

I grew up watching the English/USA version of this video. I have to say that the Grimm Grinning Ghosts (Le Joyeux Royaume des Fantomes) segment is even more frightening in this version. My version was scary enough, but I think the added Haunted Mansion parts would have scared me even more as a child! Still, it's fun to watch the Disneyland Paris version--thanks for posting! It's zombie-filled Phantom Canyon exclusive to Phantom Manor. This is because the Antebellum Plantation-style home in Anaheim Disneyland just didn't scream Haunted Mansion on the outside & Europeans are a VISUAL people & the Victorian gothic decor of Florida's Haunted Mansion IS what the local neighborhoods look like, never mind that Europe IS where the appropriately-titled Grimm Fairy Tales that Disney's tamed originated, so it's NOT scary enough to just port over the American Haunted Mansions because they simply weren't scary due to Europeans being made of tougher skin than we Americans (This is FACT, like it or not, because the Europeans as well as the Japanese of the Far East both orignated everything dark & frightening that America eventually grew to love). Since Europe doesn't have as strict a hold on copyright, so they wouldn't have to fear being sued by the creators of _Phantom of the Opera_ they were able to use The Phantom (who resembles Erik) & Melanie Ravenswood (although she ironically resembled "Beating Heart" - Prascilla opposite hubby Captain Bloodmere Gore when the Sea Captain/Mariner storyline by Ken Anderson was still considered the core story for the original attraction, Emily Cavanaugh DeClaire-Gracey per the Ghost Galley at doombuggies.com & The Haunted Mansion Comic Book which first put forth the idea of The Ghost Host actually being Master Gracey [as in, the Aging Man Dorian Gray painting, rather than the Hanging Man], Elizabeth in the 2003 film starring stale comedian Eddie Murphy as a realtor lured to the decaying Mansion to make a sale but instead found himself & his family helping the 999 Grim Grinning Ghosts be absolved of the curse placed upon the house before ascending to Heaven [or in evil butler Ramses case, being swallowed up by the flames of Hell when he turned the fireplace into a pathway to Hell & tried to drag Eddie Murphy down with him], Bernadette for alliterative purposes in Epic Mickey 2's Lonesome Manor level in the Bog Easy stage, etc. - from the Stateside Mansions most likely to draw in American fans to the attraction [due to Euro Disney/Disneyland Paris being a FLOP initially], because Melanie is actually brunette canonically & doesn't have the heartbeat effect as she's an entirely different Bride than her American predecessors).

How? Phantom Manor is - pardon the pun - a DEAD giveaway that it's in Disneyland PARIS. Although Mickey in the opening still referred to the park by its old name of EURO DISNEY, since it was still being marketed as such when the tape was recorded in 1993 (although, most of it recycled much of what had been done for the 1990 _Disneyland Fun_ tape, but dubbed into French, Dutch/German, and even redone back into English [for the UK]).

I don't dislike the new Star Tours because it's Choose a course, but for turning the Star Speeder 1000 (a prequel ship) into the TARDIS by traveling through space and time. In my opinion, the attraction would have been better if we had a confident, cocky pilot who had flown so often, the usual tour is boring, so he decides to "spice it up a bit" making us all wish we had REX who after all those years was still flying for the first time. Disneyland Paris is now the most visited place in Europe

Though do admit, I do admire the attempt to be more elaborate, and the attempt to correcting some of the flaws of the other Disney parks. (And I also admit that I visited there once as a kid) so I do have some respect for DLP. It just wasn't made with proper public survey sheets of weather it is fully a good idea or not.

This can't be before 1995. There is one vital clue to that: At 9:49 The Engine No. 2 C.K. Holliday's tender is lettered "Euro Disneyland". The park hasn't been called that since before 1994. The other clue is there are no shots of "Space Mountain: De la Terre a La Lune", A Major attraction built in 1995. This video was made sometime between park opening and the 95 relaunch.

Plus, no Lion King characters, as that film was released in 1994 & characters from a film don't enter the parks until less than a year afterwards. So it's 1994 at most & 1991 at earliest when Euro Disney first opened.

I do a lot of research on Disney. I knew that the name had changed from Euro Disneyland, but I didn't when know for sure. So when I saw the tender saying that, it really stuck out to me. BTW: The original sing along has a few clues to it's date as well: Star Tours is sponsored by M&M's The People Mover is running. The Skyway between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland is still in operation. There is no Fantasmic! Putting all of those clues together can also help you date when that video was made.

Plus, the existence of Disney Afternoon characters proves that it was done in the early 90's, since the characters didn't start coming back into vogue until recent memory (2017's _Ducktales_ series remake, the _Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers_ movie, and Disney possibly workshopping a _Darkwing Duck_ revival).

You can tell this was made in 2005; "Pecos Bill" is a much more fun song than "The Great Outdoors" and Pirates of the Caribbean had Will Turner fighting Barbarossa, with more realistic animatronics. This is awesome!

Has this ever been released to DVD? I heard that if you change the language to French in the Disneyland Fun DVD it would play this version but there's no French audio option in my DVD's menu. I was thinking about getting the VHS tape from France, but I found out it is in SECAM format and my VCR won't play it...

Too bad they didn't release it with the ability to change it to the English version "Let's Go to Disneyland Paris" - kzbin.info/www/bejne/babOmImKj6d7ndk - if we wanted. They also should've included the Dutch version of Euro Disney/Disneyland Paris too. This way, we would get all 3 versions on the disk. But then, Disney has cut corners in recent years (ex: not releasing the rest of The Disney Afternoon shows to DVD and not doing similarly for the One Saturday Morning shows, too).

I think that the images are from 1992 or 1993 because the first version of that Sing Along Song were commercialised in 1993. And there some elements in the park who have already the name or symbol of "Euro Disneyland" like in the Main Street's station or maybe the train I don't remember. No. It wasn't made in 2005. I already mentioned the main clues to it's date earlier. The fact that there are a few signs that say "Euro Disneyland" Dates this film before 1995.
