Tears come to my eyes. "I'll Be Seeing You." Just sweet as it gets. Dazzling. Real talent.

Shirley and Leslie did so beautifully! I'm still waiting for a girl to make me happy. I just have to wait until God says it's time, but its hard.

Yes, that is the same Bob McGrath who went on to greater fame during a 40-year run on Sesame Street. Many kids grew up watching him. Shirley Temple sadly died on February 11, 2014 at 85.

@@cpt4168 I'm here because Bob McGrath recently died. I loved him on sesame Street in the 70s when my son was young and then in the last 20 years with my granddaughters. Never realized he did so much singing. I was a fan of Mitch Miller's TV show when I was young. Never knew I was watching Bob McGrath back then!

What is it about our past that liberals and leftists hate so much. They are so negative compared to this earlier time....
@TyrekeCorrea5 жыл бұрын
Well, apparently, the olden days were too old-fashioned.

I am a leftist, and I don’t hate those days. I so often wish we could get back to those times. Some things in our society were not as they should have been, but on the whole I think they were better days.

As a left-leaning person who’s also into vintage stuff, I don’t “hate” the past or history (in fact I think it’s very important to learn about) but we just have to separate ourselves from the dominant worldviews (racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, ableism, xenophobia) of those times and know that they were prevalent then and still now in different, less obvious ways. I wouldn’t say we are “negative”- we just aren’t gonna romanticize or glorify the inequalities put forth in the past that still have effects on society today. TL;DR: Vintage vibes, not vintage values

Literally what does a question like this have anything to do with the show? Just plain ignorance...you're looking for a bogeyman and I hope you find it...
