Just if you are curious... the ‘lirycs’ of the Italian song is: Calabrisella mia Calabrisella mia Calabrisella mia facilmente mi fai innamorare Trallallero lallero lallà Sta’ Calabrisella morire mi fa And then she repeated that part over ad over again ... SO: “Calabrisella” is a pretty way to say “girl from Calabria” the Italian region she said she is from. “Mia” literally means “my” “Facilmente mi fai innamorare” means “you easily make me fall in love” and “morire mi fai” means “you kill me (because of Love)” and “sta’” means “that” So the phrase is “that girl from Calabria is killing me for love” As you can immagine is really stereotypical love song “made in Italy”🇮🇹😂 what I wrote may seem different of what she said because that song is written in Calabrian dialectic as she said which is different of the Italian language “that you study from the books” So yeah that’s it...hope this will be useful. Ciao! = bye! 👋🏻 love from Milan...

With Costanza singing Italian I could REALLY appreciate the improvement that her posture and dropped jaw had on her singing. Everyone in this series has been such a good sport and they all DEFINITELY sang better the second time. That's irrefutable. Should you find your way to CA doing this series and our paths cross I already have my song. I will be dustin' off that confidence building, Sesame Street classic "Sing!" specifically the lines "Sing. Sing a Song. Don't worry if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear. Just sing. Sing a song."

I am italian. Just a Quick explanation about what dialect Is for us. Keep in mind we are a complete nation Just After First world war. She Is from south and i am from North. What i can get Is the general meaning of It but her dialect Is so different from mine that i cant really get everything. A proper dialect Is a language loosely based on italian. The most proper the dialect the looser the relationship with italian. Generally speaking After second world war TV helped a lot unifying the language but still today the older and the poorer the population the worst their italian Is. Emigrants were among the poorest, Calabria Is still the poorest region in Italy. What you american are used to hear Is NOT the italian accent most of the time but a variant of sicilian, calabrian or napoli accent. The lady in the video Is no ecception but her english Is very good being probably second generation.

Ok Tara, this segment says so much about you and your esteemed walk-on players ;) First of all, the first part, where you deal with sometimes strange folk of people that turn you down was comedy gold. In particular, the 2nd gentleman who I think (?) was trying to hit on you, it made me laugh how you just had that "aaaaaaaaahhhh OKayyyyyy" moment. It was a bit of a glimpse of seeing how a beautiful woman has to deal with people tripping over them. Awwkward! ;P Also this shows how you just plow on, undeterred when life throws you curve balls. Dodge, weave and take it all with a dose of humor and professionalism! You are just a splendid teacher. You really do help people get better quickly. And you do it in a very kind and disarming way. I can see why people would covet working with you on a weekly basis. So glad you are doing what you do, and bringing a bit of musical light into people's world through your artistry and teaching. :) Lastly, what a sweet woman Costanza is! She showed such a joy singing a song she loved from youth. She was already good, but you brought out even more sweetness to her voice. Thanks for posting.
