Great, great tip. It's something hard to feel at first, but after many errors and strain you understand that it's all a matter of making it happen, not forced to happen.

The timing of your videos continues to amaze me. It’s exactly what I need when I need it THANK YOU!!! I’ve been trying to teach myself to sing for a year now but I’ve seen little progress. I’m thinking something is wrong with my foundation. Quick question, should I only work on breathing, pitch and vowels or Is something else I should look into?

I've wondered about this for a long time now. It just felt weird so I just tried to relax and find a natural feel. Of course, then i thought i wasn't getting it and probably could be doing it better...

For me it works SO MUCH. But its not bringing the belly in really, is a contraction of the whole abdominal muscle that supports the flow of air out, and it really makes it dooo much easier in the vocal cords. But i am begonner and just starting to learn, doing what my teacher says

Sir Eric, I have a question. I feel like when I was singing my voice comes from my throat that it has a like some I don't know how to put it but i feel like my voice is not smooth it's likely loud and not beautiful to hear it's like I'm singing but I sing like I shout.. And there's time that my voice becomes smooth and I feel comfortable with it but I feel like my voice comes from my head, face and mouth... And so my question is what does singing sound and feel like?
@rizlovedaydream84243 жыл бұрын
I wish you were my singing teacher. I've no one to teach me.. I just watched some KZbin videos I Try to sing.. But whenever I try to sign I feel so much tightness and like feel trapped in sight.. Like my voice doesn't want to out.

Now I’m in slight pain… so is it not that I need to engage my core or is it more so that I just need to take deeper breathes?

@@ericarceneaux dude!!! Thank you that made it clear 🙏🏾 the exercise really highlighted the connection between releasing the air and the core! Thanks again 💯

Now when I sing and I go higher am I suppose to feel a harder push not in my belly but in my chest if you answer questions can you answer that for me
