There has been this one song going around and it has an amazing trumpet melody that I cant get out of my head, its cinco centavitos by hugo enriquez, do you think you could do a score of that? funny analogy but this honestly isn’t too bad for the typical jazz lead player. its basically an expectation to play in that range. you should see the LEGIT sing sing sing jeff hest part for lead trombone

Many nice things in this arrangement, but... 1) The song isn't by Benny Goodman. This is just based on his version of Louis Prima's tune. 2) I don't think the Gene Krupa part (I see what you did there ;) ) is notated correctly, but that probably doesn't matter if you give the part to a good drummer. (And you should only give this to a good drummer.)

1) Ah yes, I am aware it's Louis Prima, in my haste to get this posted before work this morning I forgot to add that to the description, I'll update it now. This arrangement is based off of the Benny Goodman version though. 2) Glad someone noticed it haha, and yeah in my sheet music it's basically all slash notation and allows for lots of improvisation, what I have here is mostly filler just for the audio.

Why is the trumpet 1 part an octave higher than the actual notes given

Aidan Dokland you could probably play around with it a little bit. You could take a couple parts from trumpet 2 and the solo from trumpet 1 if you want to make a clarinet part
