A German version of the Showaishin no Uta would be really cool. The Ode of the Showa Restoration, the anthem of the Young Officer’s Movement committed to launching a Second Meiji Revolution, which they tried on February 26th. But failed nobly in their honorable path, I only hope that Araki Sadao-dono’s vision does not fail! I’m half-German, part-Italian, and part-Japanese and I love this song!
@FreeSpeechAbsolutist17764 жыл бұрын
You did a good job and I'd love to see more of these, but I would prefer if you wouldn't change the lyrics too much. Doki no Sakura should have had more lyrics regarding camaraderie.
The only issue regarding this creation, is the usage of the cognomen of his majesty the Emperor. As in Japanese tradition, in terms of showing reverence and fealty towards a figure of the divine. We abstain from saying anything personal, as we are not of similar status compared to the Emperor . Overall, amazing song, despite some western additions.

This makes me think of the fallen German soldiers who fought for Germany bravely throughout the ages... It is absolutely hypocritical that everyone is allowed to celebrate their veterans except Germany due to “feeling guilt”, which I believe is hindering Germany’s progress. We should’ve been able to been like Japan and not have to lose our nationalist spirit.

hmm... the lyrics doesn't resemble the original much.... your Njet Molotoff was far closer to the original. Also there seems to be an unofficial 4th stanza for Doki no Sakura, left out of the official version due to the negativity of the lyrics.(official version only encompasses 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th stanza) it goes at half speed of the other stanzas, and the lyrics is as follows: 貴様と俺とは 同期の桜 同じ航空隊の 庭に咲く あれほど誓った あの日も待たず 何故に散ったか 死んだのか (You and I were the sakura of the same season We blossomed in the yard of the same squadron And despite we vowed to sacrifice on the same day you went ahead and died first)
