I was crammed in the back row of a CRJ200 and my flight was delayed by 2 hours, but I got a bottle of water, a snack AND coffee! It was only a one hour flight too. I was super grateful for the excellent service from the flight attendants. This was a Delta Connection flight out of JFK, so I had much lower expectations.

If you want the best experience of what this would be like, you watch this guy. He gives insightful information, the video quality is excellent, and he doesn't say anything. By him not saying anything it's almost like the airline made a video just for me, trying to get me to do this. Other people on here talk so much they make it about them. This guy does it right.

I flew economy on Singapore Airlines many years ago and it was brilliant. Very polite and attentive personnel, beyond delicious food, and as there were only about 10 people on board we were all able to move to the 5-seat rows and lie down for a proper sleep. These luxury rooms now seem a bit OTT but they would be fantastic on a long haul flight.

my favorite part was reading the First Class menu. Singapore Airlines has phenomenal food. god i miss flying Internationally. Singapore Airlines & Fly Emirates are two of if not the BEST airlines i’ve ever flown on. my wife is from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam so I fly into Changi Airport often when we visit her family. IIRC, they recently installed a waterfall in the terminal in Singapore.

I still remember the first time I went to business class. The seat was free so I had to really enjoy it to the point I forced myself to not sleep just to fully experience it and it was awesome. I can't imagine how nice and luxurious First Class would be.

My Mum got upgraded for her birthday to business class on the Manchester-Dubai leg of our Emirates flight back to Melbourne. I also believe my Dad got upgraded to either First or Business from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur where his ensuite had a minibar fridge with complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks!

we flew Singapore Airlines once from Manila to Brisbane, having zero experience traveling prior to flying from Canada to Manila when I booked the flight my main concern was the price. They were undeniably the most economical so I booked our 2 tickets, Manila to Singapore and then on to Brisbane. Well what a total treat! The food was phenomenal, the service exemplary and even in economy the attention to detail was unmistakable. The courtesy package of grip socks and toiletries was most appreciated and the hot towel service was unexpected but so very welcome! And the layover we had at Changi Airport was only 8 hours, I could have spent so much longer there!

The cabin crew on my Singapore Airlines flight was amazing as well, and i was in economy. The attendant saw I was feeling chilly, and so she handed me a blanket without my asking. This was before we were airborne. Imagine, she took the time! It blew me away.

That's not 1st class...That's a damn HOME! I've never flown first class. But how many people who's flown first class can say they've driven an IROC Z28 around a NASCAR speedway (Atlanta Motor Speedway) at 160 mph? This guy can! The Richard Petty Experience was awesome! Get a credit card and spend wisely to access such luxuries. Trust me. Find the time to do a little reading and thinking on spending strategies. I am 21 and have enough credit card miles to fly first class from Singapore to Japan twice. I'm not rich, I make 30K a year, save 70% of my income.

It was a year ago I flew 1st class from Singapore to London return. It was my last flight due to my age. It was truely the most wonderful experience. I had booked it as a gift to myself for my 70th birthday but Covid struck so had to postpone the trip which tied in with Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. I would say if you can do this trip. It was an experience that I will never forget. Thank you Singapore Airlines.

As beautiful as they are I don't get super excited any more. In my job for years I traveled on so many great airlines, Singapore, Qantas, Emirates, British, NZ, Air China, Japan to name but a few I lost that magical feeling that came with first, business & cattle class that so many find exciting. It was just a job I was going to stuck in a long tube. Certainly many where comfortable with good food, entertainment but still you were nailed to a seat for any thing up to 20 hours then with customs, transits, endless hotels. After 30+ years I am retired and happy to stay on the ground. If I need to travel by air it's a necessary evil rather than a pleasure. Now at near 80 yrs I go out of my way not to travel any more. That's when a job that required you to travel 30-35 times a year does to you! It's like eating the same great food day after day. No matter how good it is you eventually get sick of it and don't anyone tell you any different!

Never first class but always business. Only reason I don’t fly economy is because I physically cannot sleep on long haul flights if the seat doesn’t lay flat out (I get a very bad back otherwise). First class is not worth the cost.

It's been over a decade since I set foot inside, but I liked JAL lounge in Tokyo [serving international flights]: they had an open bar, buffet, and a separate smokers lounge that wasn't a birdcage with prison style seating - real decor, a sizeable room, and comfortable chairs. Grabbed a cognac, and enjoyed a cigar with a good book while waiting for my connecting flight. Most airports you have to leave the lounge [and sometimes the building] to grab a smoke. Singapore is nice too: the airport has enough ameneties that you really don't need to find a lounge. For the most part, I don't find myself needing a lounge except on domestic flights. Whether it's inside the US, EU or whatever - all domestic flights have degraded to cattle car/peasant service. As for obnoxious airports? I think Heathrow tops my list: they just want to force you to shop, and have a system of hiding gate numbers until an hour before departure so you are forced to mill about in the common area. Lounges near the gate are underutilized, and underprovide in connection with how the airport is managed.

The day I finally get on a First Class plane flight, there is absolutely no way in hell I'm sleeping. I'm trying everything on the damn menu. I'll sleep all day prior. Then, get to the airport 4 hours before my flight to enjoy everything in the lounge as well.

In "First Class" they gave you 12 course meal and if you want you can have more. Plus there are food at "First Class" lounge. I have been on "First Class" many times but my last trip on Cathay Pacific from Boston to Hong Kong on January 2019. It was very unusual the flight attendant kept gave me caviar. Usually they only gave you one caviar per flight. I like them there are people not too crazy about it.

If you fly "First Class" I would not recommended you to go to the airport 4 hours early especially if you are at Lufthansa, Swiss, Cathay Pacific Airways, Singapore, Emirate and Ethiad Airlines lounges. If you do by the time you board the plane you will be full. On the plane in "First Class" after you got feed. Flight Attendants does not force you to go to sleep. In a way they would love to make your bed and encourage you either resting or sleep so they also can rest. Of course anytime you need anything they will at your service.

1:03 I totally get it. There's a moving walkway, which if used with a fast walking pace, will get you to the end of it very quickly. Why you would want to run and quickly exhaust yourself... well, I guess there's always one person that wants to take the harder route.

Great video, although I have to say that I find the shower on the Emirates A380 superb, you don't have to take up time having a shower in an arrivals lounge and you feel fresh getting to your hotel. My very first First Class experience was on Singapore, many years ago now, and I'll never forget it.

I am a professional photographer and journalist and film-maker from Australia. I have been visiting Singapore since the 1980s. It has come a long way since those days. Singapore is comfortably multi-cultural and the local people care about good manners and abiding by the law. I have flown there and back many times. In an Airbus A380 aircraft, the Economy Class seats are very tight despite the A380's hot reputation, but I am over six-foot tall. Try 'Economy Plus' or Business Class if you can afford it or can make it tax-deductible. On short flights I can live with a seat in Economy, but for long-haul flights, Business Class is becoming increasingly important to me, despite the additional cost. I've done a lot of flying over the decades and it is not as exciting as it once was.

I flew premium economy from L.A to Hong Kong. That was good enough for me. I'm 6'5" and had plenty of leg room. Charging ports and a tv screen. But I slept most of the 14 hours (I think 14) anyways. Flew regular economy leaving Hong Kong to Manila a few days later. Hated it. Thank god it was only a 90 minute hop.

The last time I flew Singapore 1st class was about 15 years ago. It didn’t have the suites then but was still wonderful and private. At one meal we had black caviar and vodka. I’m not well enough to travel now but if I could I would always choose Singapore Airlines. Prior to that I had gone ist on 3 other airlines. None a bit as good. The cabin crew were wonderful.

I recently took two flights with Singapore Airlines now that COVID-19 border restrictions are being phased out, and I have flown with them many times over the decades. In the industry, Singapore Airlines is usually referred to simply as 'SIA'. I wrote for their in-flight magazine, which was called _Silver Kris._ I'm sorry to hear that you can't travel anymore.
