Flew this plane to Munich in business - it was truely one of the best flying experiences I’ve had. Crew were extremely attentive, immediately picked up that I was a nervous flyer and did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. I even got to talk to the captain several times, he would give me turbulence updates. I woke up from a solid nights sleep and I had a plate of cookies next to me with a note from the flight attendant looking after me that she was glad I was relaxed enough to sleep and that she was going to be resting but that she’s told the crew on call that I’m a nervous flyer. Amazing!

Wow! I flew SQ Business just this month to Italy. My first time on any Business Class. Your video reminded me of my time on board! Just awesome. Their service is simply amazing. really attention to details! the crew were all so sharp eye! They can anticipate what you are going to do next or want next!

flew this exact same business class fleet in october for my trip from singapore to london and paris to singapore :) so comfortable i got 10 hours of sleep to london it being an overnight flight!

One good thing about Singapore airline business class is that it’s actually reasonably priced or cheaper compared to other airlines business class if you can find good sale or promotion and there are many flights to choose from and of corse the soft and hard product are highest. That’s why I mostly end up choosing Singapore airline every time when I go back to Japan from Australia

Isn’t it amazing how a huge airplane can take off, climb to an altitude of about 6 miles carrying hundreds of passengers, etc etc for hours on end in complete safety and comfort? That’s the miracle of aviation! ✈️✈️😀😀👍👍❤️❤️

Singapore Business Class is second to none They are simply the best . However there are some short comings . The SilverKris Lounge in Changi Terminal 3 is resembled a hospital ward when we were there in December 2018 with people lying on the couch and the bathroom is mouldy and had not been cleaned properly . The midnight supper service on our Sydney flight as a little bit rush with no offer of dessert or hot cuppa . We will be travelling again with Singapore Air in December 2019 and hope that they are improving

That used to be the norm in AMS or at least the checkpoints used to be closer to the gates than they are now. Even MNL's T1 used to have such a set-up until the mid-2000s and now, only flights headed straight to the US have that additional set-up there.

The 777-300ER only uses General Electric engines, however the 777-200ER uses GE, RR and PW. The 777-300 uses either RR or PW.

You have amazing selection of trip reports! I recently flew A350 and didn’t know that seats on B777-300ER and A350 are the same. I found the seat to be a bit uncomfortable in that the food space is limited. The monitor is not touch screen, which is hard to find in newer aircraft nowadays.

Anyone noticed those Sarrongs the Singapore girls are wearing ? I had the chance to talk to Mary in 2017 on board of SIA flight # 346 to Zürich. Mary was a flight attendent in the premium eco class. During that long flight i asked her a lot of questions. That's why i know a lot of details. She told me that those costumes are hand tailor made because every woman has different sizes. Other than that they get 3 pairs of shoes for free each year and free make up products as well. Their salary rises each year for 300 $ so they need no union. Never the less to be a flight attendent is a tough job. You always have to be friendly no matter if you want or not. Even after a 12 hour flight from Singapore to Europe.

The inflight meal service is comparable to Cathay Pacific First Class (minus the caviar and Krug of course!). Cathay Pacific's Business Class cannot even come close to this with their preset plastic meal trays and limited options on newspaper style menus.

Defenitly there’s nothing with SA business class. There’s certainly luxury involved, but absolutely not “unmatched” ! Every seat design has its own disadvantages and in this case it’s the bed position. Perfectly wide at the top and a nice trim, but the space for your feet is an afterthought; too small, not comfortable to sleep, this too as a result of the “flip over” design. So if you call that unmatched, you probably don’t have the frequent flyer premium class experience to match those details at all. I’m not saying there’s a lot wrong with SA; absolutely not, they are the in the overall high end. However this has to be said.
